Expo’70 Commemorative Park is a vast park located
in the northern suburbs of Osaka.
The Osaka Expo was held here in 1970.
The Expo was an event that symbolized Japan’s period
of rapid economic growth.
After the Expo ended, a natural forest was regenerated
on the artificial ground. (Natural and Cultural Gardens)
The Japanese garden was built in conjunction with the Expo
and remains intact to this day.
