You can get most iconic bento with one coin in Japan. I’m curious how much it would cost overseas. For me, it’s way better than buying a bento at a convenience store because it’s cheaper and honestly just tastes better. This is the most famous bento chain in Japan called Hotomoto. And this one is called Nori Bento. Nori Bento usually come with fried fish and chua temper, but this one just has nori like this. I don’t even know why it’s still called nori bento, but anyway, it’s so tasty, especially for one coin meal. I love it.
