3-Day Japan Travel Vlog πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ What to do in Tokyo, Michelin Star Lunch, Tsukiji Market!

Spending three days in Tokyo trying viral foods with honest reviews to exploring Sukiji Market and eating lots of sushi. You’re going to want to save these spots for your Japan trip. Hi, I’m Mish, a New York-based corporate girly turned entrepreneur and now wifey who manifested my dream life. So, I’m here to help you live yours, too. Over the next few days, we’ll be doing lots of shopping, eating, sushi, matcha, so many adventures. So, in this vlog, I’ll be taking you around the city and what to do. So, let’s get our day started. This is what they have on the menu. And literally not even open yet. Look, there’s another couple waiting in line. Secured the matcha. The order I got was a triple matcha with oat milk and less sugar. And I had to mix it thoroughly because my first sip was too sweet. But I wanted to give a thorough review and I actually really really like it. The only issue that I have with this place is that they don’t whisk it in front of you. So, it’s kind of like a weird, you know, I love to see a whisk, but it is very good, very matcha flavorful. I would say this is probably one of the better ones that I’ve had on my trip. I’ve been in Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo for a few days, and I’ve done a lot of other matcha reviews, so you can check those out in my other vlogs. But yeah, highly recommend this place, Iuko. Good start to the day. Time to get sushi in Tokyo. Currently waiting online at this point in Tokyo. I’m a professional line waiter. This is how many people are in front. Finally at the front of the line. I think we only waited 15 minutes, so this is a really not bad wait. Highly recommend this place. We came here 2 days ago and loved it so much that we are back. This standing sushi bar is just too good. That is our second time here. If you’ve seen in my previous vlog, that’s why we’re here again. So good. One of my favorite pieces. This is like the fattest scallop that has ever existed. need to add Namurro Hanamaru to your list because that standing sushi bar is a 10 out of 10 and so worth it. It was only $50 between me and my husband and I had around 11 or 12 pieces. He ate maybe like 13 or 14, but it was so so good. Off to our next destination. Tokyo has some of the best premium cars if you’re looking to get around not with the trains and my husband and I have only been getting around with cars and there doesn’t seem to be too much traffic. Well, we’re from New York City, so we don’t find it as bad. It’s a little bit cheaper than New York City, but it is pretty convenient if you don’t want to take the train. And the cars are really nice. They lay completely back. This would be a premium one. This wouldn’t be a regular car, but we’ve been loving it so far. Oh, okay. Look, the leg part goes up as well. He’s convinced these are business class movers. We came to this area called Amosando. There’s a lot of luxury shopping and I’m hoping to get a fragrance. Smells like incense. I kind of like this cotton candy scent. We can only pick five to blend our fragrances and it’s actually really hard to pick. So many fragrances. So you can pick your color. What color are you going to pair? That was such a fun, cute activity. Highly recommend. I saw someone else do this on Tik Tok and I was like, you know what? I want to bring something home from Tokyo that is memorable. So, me and my husband did that. And fun fact, it is our honeymoon. So, we thought it’d be cute to have like different fragrances that we can remember. Guess how much that is. I think this is 6,000. How much is it? It’s 5600. Yeah, 5600. I don’t I don’t think this is a good deal. It looks really like used and abused. I don’t really like the medium size, but it’s cute. It’s sturdy though. Shirt pants. Next stop, taking a shopping break. There is literally nothing for me to buy besides accessories. I don’t think I’m too much of a trendy person. It’s really hard to shop here. So, when I get bored of shopping, I get hungry. This is really good. Oh, wow. Wow. The fresh one is like surprisingly really good. Wow. We literally devoured. I’m beyond shocked because we randomly stumbled in here and this was a 10 out of 10. So, highly highly recommend. It’s cute. Starbucks break. Hi. Can I get a short matcha latte? Sugar is included in. It’s already mixed. Okay, that’s fine. Had to try a Starbucks matcha latte. It tastes like New York. I don’t really I don’t really recommend. It’s okay. Time to go home and recharge. Took a little break at the hotel and I wanted to do a mini haul of what I got. I haven’t bought many things this Japan trip besides stuff at Unilo, but today was a decent haul. So, we got this from United Tokyo. Heard that this was a good brand for Tokyo made items and got like this kind of like basic long sleeve, which I think will be a really nice basic. these days. I only try to buy things that I see myself keeping in my closet for a long time. And then this I thought this one was super cute. This I bought I’ve never heard of this brand before, but my husband told me it’s from Europe. I have an obsession with like bears and like stuffed toys. So, I thought this was cute. like a cute little French bear. Oh, I got this the other day. A little a little hat. I thought this was like really adorable. And the puff was just like super soft and fluffy. This I feel like was probably the nicest stuff that I bought. I bought a sweater and a skirt and I feel like these were super super high quality basics. So, this is like a maxi skirt and it has like this really cool texture and it makes me look really skinny. So, I was like, I got to have it. It doesn’t really look like much, but goes all the way down to the floor. Will be a great winter basic. Maybe all seasons I could wear like heels with it, boots with it. And then I have this cardigan which is it’s made out of good material and it’s pretty cool because it has this like neck wrap. The buttons are different colors which I thought was like a little bit unique. I think it’s like one of the designers here. I don’t even know. These two items were a little pricey but I think you know fun. But yeah, dinner is at 9:30. So, and then this is our hotel. We’re staying at the edition. It’s a little bit messy. This hotel has a lot of room and a great view. Let me show you. You can see Tokyo Tower from our room. And yeah, it’s a nice little color today. I’ll do a quick little tour because if you want to stay here, then you can see what it looks like. This room is pretty big for Tokyo. We have our little hallway here, fridge, safe, closet, all of that. And then this is the bathroom. It’s pretty large. Shower area is pretty big and toilet area. All of this this actually closes. So, you know, if you don’t want an open bathroom, but yeah, everything is kind of a mess. We have our bed, my husband, all of our junk that, you know, we’ve kind of laid out. And yeah, I would say all of the snacks. It’s really messy in here, but you know, we’ve been here for the last like five days, so everything’s kind of laid out. They do come clean twice a day, which we do love. Turndown service is a must for a five-star hotel. In Osaka, we had a five-star hotel and they didn’t do turnown service and that was kind of disappointing. But yeah, off to dinner very soon. This is our real ride, not the bike. We’re eating yaki niku tonight. This is a pretty late dinner. I’m so excited. This was highly recommended by Tabalog and many of our friends. Dip it in the sauce. My husband’s really impressed by our server today. Yum. It’s 11:00 p.m. We just finished dinner. It was an actual 10 out of 10. Highly, highly recommend. One of our best meals in Tokyo. And now we are walking it off. 30 minutes. We are going to Donkey Hot because we have not done a haul yet and I want to get some skin care little things, snacks. I don’t know. I’m just going to shop around and hopefully there’s some good stuff. But it’s 24/7. So yeah, let’s get some more shopping in. 30 minute walk and we are almost there. That was a good amount of walking and I’m so glad because I’m still really full. There’s literally Birkin here. It’s so crazy. They have skin care to makeup to Birkkins. This is like insane. Louis Vuitton, Gucci, anything you could possibly want is in this store. All of our purchases. So, it’s 2:40 a.m. and we did a giant donkey hotel haul of like little trinkets and skin care and like things we can use. But yeah, it’s really late. We got to get up early tomorrow. So, I will see you bright and early in the morning. Let me know if you want a haul. Good morning. It’s another full day in Tokyo. We’re starting our morning off eating breakfast at the addition. They have a good little breakfast buffet. I ordered some French toast and we have a lot of beads today. We’re actually going to a Michelin star tempura spa which I am really excited about. We actually booked that like a month in advance and we have more shopping in my rain today. But yeah, more matcha adventures, sushi food, everything. So yeah, let’s get this day started. Really good. Heavy. The matcha store is somewhere in this mall. So, we are trying to look for it. No idea where it is. Can I get an iced matcha latte with oat milk and just lightly sweetened? Light? Yeah, light sweet. It’s 11:14 and there is no line for this matcha place. We saw that this was some girls number one matcha spot. So, I’m really excited to try it. Any spot that we’ve gone to at 11:00 a.m., we’ve waited like 30 minutes for matcha. So, this is great. Making sure to actually stir this. I feel like I never get a correct matcha review when I don’t completely stir the bottom. Wait, this must be one of my favorite matchas. I think this is one of my favorite matchas. And she uses 5 g of matcha. This might be my favorite one with no lime. Way better than yesterday’s. Yesterday’s was good, but wait, this one is really good. Yesterday was too sweet. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend. I’m going to go buy the powder. We’re here staring. Why are you asking? Yummy. Michelin star tempura was definitely a really good experience. And the old ladies next to my husband thought he was a movie star. Wow. I’m married to a movie star. He definitely loved it. Anyway, we are going to do a little bit more shopping. And yeah, let’s see what there is. This is our second to last. No, no, we have one more full day in Tokyo after this and then we’re going home um the day after in the afternoon. So, like a day and a half, two and a half more days. So, yeah. There’s Godzilla at this spot called Memory Lane. It’s just a bunch of restaurants. We’re just sightseeing Shinjuku, which is apparently the red light district. There’s been a lot of um inappropriate posters everywhere, but it’s pretty cool to see. I definitely would suggest coming to visit. I feel like I’m in Japanese Time Square. Came to this Wagyu Sukiyaki spot. We have two friends who are actually also in Tokyo at the same time. So, so nice to meet up with dinner. Hi, friends from New York. Oh no, it’s raining. We just got back from dinner meeting friends from New York, which is super fun. Lots of our friends have been in New York and we’re kind of like unpackaging. I did get some matcha and it’s so annoying because a lot of places only have like one. You can only buy one tin. There’s limits on it. So, I’ve counted all of the matcha that I do have, and it’s only going to last me 6 months after Japan, which is kind of annoying. I would kind of like to stock up a little bit more since it’s really hard to find. But anyway, my husband got me smith Smith keys. I don’t know what these are, but we’re going to open up some blind boxes. What do you want? I want this one. No, this one’s kind of cute. I want this one. Okay. So, we’re going to open these. This feels like the ‘9s. Opening up a Happy Meal. This one looks like he’s sucking something. Like, eat it. What is that? Okay, this is what I got. He’s kind of cute. Interesting. Let’s see what my husband got. What did you get? Is that a dog? Things with like a cat. Cute. I guess little things from our Asia honeymoon. The cat the cat lays on top of his belly. Okay, so it’s like a It’s a cat. Okay, these are the two we got. Anyway, we have one more full day tomorrow. So, we are going to be doing a cool activity. So, what is it called? Something labs. It should be fun. So, you’re going to want to see it. And our last day of eats, which we’re going to make sure is everything we want to eat. Today we had sukiyaki for dinner. We had dessert, but tomorrow I definitely feel like we need to get some sushi in and everything. But see you guys tomorrow. Good night. Good morning. We’re headed to Sukiji Market. We wanted to eat a last few favorites at the market before we head back to New York City since it’s our last full day. I know a lot of people say the market is touristy, which it kind of is, but there are some good finds, which I’ll show you later. And we’re headed to Team Labs later. More eats for our last day and probably some matcha. So, yeah, let’s get our last day going at 9:27. We barely waited maybe like 5 to 8 minutes, but now the line is starting to pile up. So, getting here at 9:30 was definitely a good move. If you want to come here earlier, totally go for it. But it’s really not that crowded right now. People are just eating around. But look at the lines starting to pile up. But it’s really not that bad right now. That looks so good. First piece. Wow. So good. Feel like O Toro is what most people come here for. I didn’t even know. Then there’s one even fattier. The O Toro. Wow. last super fatty piece. This is their super special fatty piece. My husband says it’s too fatty for him, but we will see. No, that’s very good. I would say this is considered not that crowded. The time that we came at like 11:30, 12, it was packed. Next adventure. Oh my god. This is definitely a must try. It’s so light and fluffy. Also, it’s just cool. It’s so large. Next stop is Wagyu beef skewers. It’s a must get apparently at Sukiji. Thank you. Wow, it’s really good. Actually so impressed. They put some of the sauce on it. Cool. I’ll get the orange soda, please. The orange soda. Oh, it’s pretty good. It’s nice and refreshing after that like fatty beef. Next food destination. We’re at this oyster ramen place and it’s super quiet in here, but it’s outside market. I don’t really like fish ramens, so hopefully it’s good. Okay, let’s try this ramen. My husband says it’s good. Oh, okay. That’s pretty nice. Kind of gives like a little bit of like crab grow. Oh, yeah. Crab. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. This is a very unique. This was a good find on our last full day. Wow. This is the pork. Apparently during peak times, this place gets really busy. So, I’m glad we came kind of on an offbeat time. This is the oyster. Don’t know why I didn’t order one in mine. Pretty good. The broth is just so thick. Not the most appetizing color, but it’s very, very good. I give this a solid nine. On the way to Team Labs now. Hi. Can I do one of the Tamia ice creams? Oh, yeah. Vanilla flavor. Just one. Just one. Apparently, this is the best ice cream in Japan. And I had to try it on my last day. H. It’s very good. M. Your lactose is sugar. No, I don’t think so. I think I’m okay with the milk here. But this is really good. I’m glad I got it. It’s not that easy to find. I’m at Excelsier Cafe and they have it. On to our next food destination. We’re waiting for a conveyor belt sushi. We really wanted to have a good one and this one always has a line. We went to the standing sushi bar before for this brand of sushi, but we wanted to see the variety, which is why we’re doing the sushi goround thing. We made it inside. Pro tip, go at an off hour. It’s like 2:30, so not that long of a wait. It still said 40 minutes, but we left to go get that ice cream and then came back after we got a ticket. Such big pieces. It was really good. It’s so interesting. A lot of these plates are just coming around with signs. So, I guess that’s how they keep the sushi fresh, so it’s not like sitting around on the conveyor belt for so long. But, it’s still very good. Wow. Actually, two of my favorite pieces. This looks insane. I don’t even think we’ve had a shrimp like this in Japan. He just made it fresh for us. Looks so good. Yum. You cannot. This looks insane. It’s 6:00. We went back to the hotel to kind of drop off our bags, recharge, change, and we are trying to figure out what to eat, but I am so full from everything we ate today. Oh my god, spray my mouth. Going to use the perfume that I made. But I feel like I don’t know. We don’t know what we want to eat. So, we’re going to go to Shabuya, do a little shopping, walk around, and then for our last dinner, just see what what is calling to us. And yeah, let’s get our last night going. No, it’s raining. Hello. Hi. I’m at the point of my trip where I’ve been in Asia for a month from Korea to Singapore, then Osaka, Kyoto, Hakone, Tokyo. This is the end of the trip. And looking at food, I just like there’s nothing that I want because I’ve been eating everything that I’ve wanted for a month. So, we’re at this Kyoto Matcha Cafe in Shabuya, and we got some matcha lattes to up our energy. Both of us passed out in the cab on the way to Shabuya. It was a nice little nap, and then hopefully we’ll have a little energy to walk around, enjoy our last day. Give me energy, please. Okay, I think this gave me a little bit of life. Let’s go do some stuff in Shabuya. Shabuya Adventures. Another day, another Wagyu course. We finally chose our last dinner, which is Wagyu Shaboo Shabu. We wanted something a little bit different than what we had yesterday because yesterday was also Wagyu Sukiyaki. And we wanted like a little bit of a cuter place for our last dinner. And yeah, I think we picked well. So, we’ll see how this is. We’re actually in this plaza called Tokyo Plaza, which has a lot of food halls and courts and recommended places. So, if you’re in Tokyo, check out Tokyo Plaza. If you don’t know where to eat, just walk around and find a food place there. That was very good. O to Toro and Fatty Wagyu tuna basically look the same. I’m so full. Yeah, eating in Japan is a sport. Our dessert. Thank god it’s not more Wagyu. It’s matcha pudding. This meal was really good. I highly recommend doing a Wagyu shaboo shaboo. Make sure to get the premium cuts. I do think it makes a difference. Guys, I feel like I’m full of Wagyu and sushi. And we’re leaving Tokyo tomorrow. 14-hour flight from Narita back to New York and back to New York City where we’ll see each other again. Make sure to subscribe if you like this sort of content. 1. There is actually a Matcha shortage in Japan right now. Matcha has become really popular in the last couple of years, there more demand than supply.
