Here’s how you can afford a trip to Japan!!🤑#skyscanner #japan #japanbudget #japantravel

Let’s find out if you can afford a trip to Japan in 2026. Because this insanely unique country can also get insanely expensive if you’re not careful. Let’s break it down. Visa is around 5,000 rupees and roundtrip flights are 30 to 40k if you book early using Skyscanner. Hotels in Tokyo Cyoto average 15 to 20,000 rupees a night. But if you go off peak to Beu or Hiroshima, stays drop down to 10,000 rupees. For food, please eat one meal a day from Lawson’s or 7-Eleven. Convenience store meals are 300 to 500 rupees, while restaurants are 1 to 1.5K. Transportation is where most people overspend. Taxis are crazy expensive, so get a Suika card and top it up with 15,000. Now, here’s my biggest hack. Internal flights are often cheaper than the bullet trains. I found a flight from Nagasaki to Osaka for just 3,000 rupees on Sky Scanner, while the train was 10,000. So always check Skyscanner before booking. Activities are usually 5 to 10K for things like sumo training, walking tours, summer experience, meditation sessions, and most shrines and gardens are free. All in all, a 10-day Japan trip will cost you around 1.3 to 1.8 lakhs per person, cheaper if you go offse. Now stop and send this to your friend and tell them to start using Sky Scanner so they can finally afford

  1. visa is not 5k, it's 1250 thru vfs, direct at Japan consulate is just 450, i'm on a 14 day trip, total spend ₹ 2L, all inclusive

  2. Visa is just ~1250 INR
There is no need to pay to any broker. You can apply on your own as well.
Also you can find airbnb and hotels in Tokyo under 10k/night 😅

  3. Hey aakanksha! Could u please post a travel guide video on japan? Including all these factors? I think we would find a travel guide video on japan very helpful considering how touristy the place is, and how confusing!

  4. This video is overly exaggerated, me and my parents spent a month in tokyo, oskaa, and hiroshima in 3lakhs.
