3-Day Japan Travel Vlog πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ Must-try Eats, Shopping, Tokyo Hotel Stay

Spending 3 days in Tokyo trying viral foods with honest reviews and so much luxury vintage shopping. You’re going to want to save these spots for your Japan trip. Hi, I’m Mish, a New York-based corporate girly turned entrepreneur and now wifey who manifested my dream life. So, I’m here to help you live yours, too. Greetings from Tokyo. This is our first few days. We just arrived. I’ll be showing you where to stay in Tokyo, what to eat, where to go, where to go shopping, and much more. So, let’s get this Tokyo vlog started. Ramen. Yes. Rage Ramen is our first food stop of the trip. We were really craving something soupy and they’re known for their soy based ramens. First ramen. This is the dipping ramen. It looks both so good. Soy based. So good. The noodle texture is like perfect. Wow. It’s really good. Trying the dipping ramen. [Music] That was a really good first meal. And now we’re on to some shopping. [Music] Can we get two matcha almond lattes? Iced. Iced. First matcha in Tokyo. To be honest, I don’t think this matcha is worth the hype. Five out of 10 for me. There’s something about the milk that I don’t really like, but it does have a decent matcha taste. I wouldn’t go back, though. Welcome to our hotel. This is where we’re staying for the next 8 days. We’re at the edition in Tokyo. And this is a really large room for Tokyo. This is the vanity area. And then we have the shower area, which is massive for Tokyo. So nice. And then we have the toilet area, which I actually feel like is super big for Tokyo as well. Just high ceilings and everything. And then I love a minimal hotel where it doesn’t look too cluttered and super modern. So this is very nice. I will be getting ready here. And then going over to the mini bar area, we have all of like the little teas and snack. Oh my, there’s my phone. We also have the fridge here, which you’ll get a bunch of drinks. And then in this closet area, you get some glassear. You’ll get more snacks. And flight attendants supposedly wash their underweares in here. So, you got a panty washer. Don’t Just kidding. Don’t Don’t wash your underwear in there. That’s really disgusting. And you get a safe where we will be sleeping. I’m actually really impressed with the size of the room because I feel like typically in Tokyo, I’ve been told that the rooms are so small and typically everyone says that their wall goes all the way up to their bed, but this is a really spacious hotel. Like we have a sitting area, we have a place, you know, to maybe eat some snacks, do some work. And for the best part of the view is that we actually get a view of Tokyo Tower. So I am super impressed with that. But yeah, this is day one of our Tokyo 8day trip and let’s get our day started. Hope you enjoyed our tour. [Music] The sun started to go down. It’s getting a little bit dark, but we are still shopping. I think stores close around 7 to 8, but it’s only 5:30. [Music] This is a homemade CocaCola. I’ve never had such a thing. Try it. Oh, it’s good. It’s kind of like cinnamon. Cinnamon Coca-Cola. Interesting. It’s refreshing. Oh, it’s so good. It’s so like unique taster. It tastes like a pumpkin. Yeah. [Music] More shopping in Shabuya. There’s so much to do in this area. I feel like you could spend an entire day. Food, shopping, so so much. More pants. [Music] Come close to me, baby. [Music] I want to know everything about you. [Music] Back in heaven. [Music] It’s time for dinner. We’re so hungry from shopping. It’s time for dinner. [Music] I don’t know how I feel about chicken liver. [Applause] Everything is chicken. This is a chicken thigh. [Music] Oh my god. This is the view from the hotel. This is so nice. This is so cute. Let’s talk about pricing of this hotel while I try some of the dessert they gave us. So, a room at the edition can range from 1,000 after tax to like 1,500 after tax depending on the room that you get and the season. Apparently, the beginning of October is a pretty high season. And they told us they are fully booked depending on your view and everything. To be honest, it is quite a pricey hotel, especially since you’re not close to any transportation. So, it’s not super convenient. And if you’re okay with taking cars everywhere, which works out a little bit better for us because we didn’t feel like figuring out the train system, though, I think we probably should just in case of traffic. But the first day, we’ve been pretty lucky. I’ll let you know how that goes. If you’re thinking of staying at this hotel, just some consideration. But we’re going to settle down for the rest of the night. I’m going to eat this honeymoon dessert. Good night, guys. See you tomorrow. Good morning. It’s another day in Tokyo and we are starting our day off with getting matcha. It’s 10:42, so we slept in a little bit, but excited to try another matcha for the day. More shopping, eating. So, yeah, let’s get started. [Music] First stop is a tillier matcha. And I’ve heard good things about this spot, so I’m excited. Can I get one matcha latte, iced matcha, with rice milk? Then can I get another matcha latte with regular milk, less milk, and less sugar? M. It’s really good with rice milk. Love. So, most of the stores actually open up in Ginsa at 11:00 a.m. It’s 11:30, so we are right in time. [Music] We finally found a place for lunch. everywhere had weights. So, pro tip is if you don’t want to wait, make a reservation or just go somewhere more expensive where there is no line. So, we kind of picked a pricier place and zero. Ordered a sparkling water and this is the size of the bottle. Pretty insane. [Music] Wow, look at all of this food for two. This is an insane food. So good. It’s so juicy and crispy. Very, very good. The amount of rice that they gave us is enough for like five people. That was a pretty good lunch. I give it an eight out of 10. That was so much food, but I barely ate the rice so that I can save some stomach room for later. And now I’m filled for more shopping. [Music] Time for some Uniqlo. Unilo is so worth it in Japan. So, we are going to go shopping. [Music] [Music] I just bought 11 items at Unilo. Babe, guess how much everything cost? $100. No, but very close. It was $120 for 11 items. That’s insane. I feel like it’s half the price here than it is in the US. So, pro tip, shop at Unilo because that’s the only And goo. Goo is also another Uniqlo brand for cheaper items. Taking a break from shopping so far. I’ve been looking at bags and the bags have been a miss. I looked at Chadel 25s and I was interested in getting that bag, but they kind of remind me of this bag and I was looking at black ones. They don’t allow photos or videos in there. And I’ve so far been offered like five of them, but they just aren’t speaking to me. And the only other bags that I like at like the vintage stores are like the Hermes bags, but they’re like 20 to 30,000, which I mean, normally in store at retail would be like 12 to 13,000. So, I kind of feel like maybe I might try my luck at home instead. Just nothing is speaking to me. So, we’ll see if I end up getting a bag. [Music] putting all our purchases into the luggage to take it back to the hotel. [Music] That’s so cool. [Music] Shaboo shaboo. [Music] Hi. It’s been such a long day, but successful second day in Tokyo. We ended up catching up with some friends from New York who ended up also being in Tokyo. Like, what are the chances? And now it’s time to go back to the hotel. It’s 11:00 p.m. Back in the hotel. And I love a good turnown service. I feel like it just makes the hotel experience extra good. But let’s do a haul of the Unilo stuff that I got today. The only luxury purchase that we got today was a Ramoa luggage. We just, you know, needed one. Plus, like, you know, the price difference, it makes it really worth it to buy one. I actually really like Here’s the luggage. But I actually really like the silver ones. But my husband doesn’t because he says it you can’t stretch the luggage when you know you need to cram things. So we settled on getting this gray large check-in. But anyway, for Unilo, I cannot believe that I only spent 120 USD for 11 pieces, which is insane. I got a bunch of like mini t-shirts in different colors, gray, brown. I have these like kind of baggier shirts for when I want to work out and I need to put something over my sports bra. I have this random pink sweater. I thought it was cute. This is probably the most expensive thing I bought. I think it’s actually made out of like fleece, but it was super soft and comfortable. I have I’m obsessed with their knit pants. I actually bought two t-shirt bras, one in black and one in nude. A long sleeve white shirt. I feel like everyone needs these. Bought like a dark green pair. And then another black long sleeve. And then oh this is the nude one. So yeah, that is crazy, isn’t it? But anyway, more shopping and eating tomorrow. See you guys. Bye. [Music] Not bad. Good morning. We’re headed to Suki Market right now, though. We’re kind of going a little bit late. My husband had to work a little bit this morning. Ideally, it’s best to go to Sukiji at like 8:00 a.m. or even earlier, but I’m not that much of a morning person, so that’s like really early. It closes at 2:00 p.m., so I think we’re still okay. I mean, if not, we’ll go for the vibes, but yeah, let’s see how it is. We made it to the market and it’s crowded, but it’s not that crowded. Like, you can still get food, so not bad if you’re thinking of coming at like 10:30, 11. So, we’re at Tukiji Market right now, and it’s actually not as crowded as I thought. Actually, we’re probably in the outer market. So, if you don’t want crowds, go to the outer market. This is their first item. Oh my god, so good. So buttery. Next, we got this oyster. It looks huge. I’m kind of worried it’s going to burst in my mouth. Wow, it’s so good. Huh? Wow, this looks so good. He made us this fresh butter to dip with this. So crazy. Wow. Oo. Oh my god. Wait, that’s so so good. 10 out of 10. 15 out of 10. So yummy. There are so many sushi options at this market. I feel like it’s not that bad. There are some really long waits for the popular spot. So, if you do want to go to those, definitely go early. We found matcha. Purchasing some matcha. Got a double shot. And I would say the matcha is pretty good. We bought four bags of it just to have because it was a pretty good price for 100 g. Stopping to play a little game. I’m hoping to get this one. It reminds me of our dog. So, let’s see if we get lucky. Penguin. Oh my god. You got it. No. It’s cute though. Didn’t get the dog. But this one’s kind of cute, too. He’s the one in our new luggage. [Music] Sushi in Tokyo. dessert. It’s good, but I don’t think that’s special. Try the mochi. I think it’s very okay. My husband says this one’s bad. Let’s see. I don’t think it’s bad. I think it’s okay. I would say maybe some of the stuff on the outer market not the best. So, you actually have to find the stands that are good. Pretty full from Sukiji Market. And now we’re going to go walk it off with some more shopping. Though, I would say there were a lot of like hits and misses at Sukijichi Market. So, probably do a little bit of research on where you want to go. You can see where the lines are, but I wasn’t patient enough to wait online. Also, if you’re lazy to figure out the transit system, taking cars seems to be pretty easy. We’ve been doing it the last 3 days and haven’t had any issues. Currently in Harajuku and it’s not crowded here at all. There’s quite a few like trendy stores. I kind of feel like it’s like the Soho of um Tokyo. It’s kind of nice. Different stuff. [Music] I feel like midday things get way more crowded during meal times. [Music] Yum. We came to this place called Happy Pancake. I wonder if they’re happy. Babe, do you think they’re happy? I’m going to pour like a little on the side. We got it with some whipped cream. It comes with a butter and some ice cream. So, this is a pretty indulgent snack time. Oh, they’re very fluffy. They’re really light. H. Not the best thing to have, but I think they’re pretty good. For dinner, we are taking a break from Japanese food and eating pizza. Apparently, pizza’s really good in Japan, and I can always do Italian food. So, I’m so excited to try. One bite. I love the white pizza. This It’s super [Music] pizza number two. So good. The bread is so good. I’m really impressed with how good that pizza was, especially since we are from New York. And New York has great pizza. But I would definitely highly suggest trying pizza in Japan because I feel like the Japanese people just perfect everything. And yeah, that was really good. Moved over to Shabuya since we wanted to find some more food. And it seems a little bit more lively here. So, still searching. [Music] We found this super local spot because I really wanted Oden soup. I found my love for Oden soup in Osaka and this place has it. It’s super local. Lots of stuff is just Japanese here. We had to use translator and yeah, I’m hoping it’s good. [Music] Today was a super long day in Tokyo. Finally home, but I’m in Tokyo for the next few days. So, I will be vlogging more shopping, eating, everything. And if you want to check out other vlogs for Japan, I have Osaka, Kyoto. Previously, I was in Singapore and Korea as well, so check those out. But I’ll see you guys in my next Japan vlog. Bye, guys. Now I got to mom. Yeah. Waiting to get there. Not a
