Where To Buy Matcha In Tokyo #japan

This secret matcha shop is where I buy all my mariku coyam in Tokyo. But they also sell their own matcha which has the same blend as this popular Mariku Coyama matcha. And the best part is no one has talked about this store on social media yet. Just 15 minutes away from Shinjuku is Lavashi Station. And within a 5 minutes walk, you’ll find this tea store. They stock an assortment of tea, matcha utensils, and make sure to try their matcha gelato, which was super intense and not too sweet. There’s a wide range of Mariku Coya Mai here, but I personally recommend buying their own matcha brand as the owner has said that it has the same blend as this Mariku Coyama matcha. They also have a second smaller store that carries even more matcha just at Lidabashi Station. This is Rakuan Kagura Zaka in Tokyo and make sure to check it out before it goes viral. Like and follow for more hidden matcha fashion and beauty finds in Japan.

  1. I'm just curious whether stores like these will have issues communicating with tourists in English. Do you speak with them in Japanese/English/use Google Translate?
