This Black Egg Was Cooked by an Active Volcano in Japan @dejashu
You can’t get this black egg anywhere in the world. And supposedly if you eat it, it’s going to give you seven extra years of life. So, let’s give it a test. So, the reason why the shell is black is because it’s actually boiled in sulfurous waters. And we’re in an active volcanic region right now, west of Tokyo in a place called Aakuani in Hakon. And then, if you look very closely, you can see the volcanic gases rising up. Just so cool or should I say really hot. We’re on in Trevor Travel’s premium Japan tour. And this is one of the stops from Tokyo that we go on. Look at this view behind me. So beautiful. Tastes like I’ve just gained another seven years of life. Cheers to that.
Save this unique Japanese dish 🌋🥚 you can’t get this black egg from any else in the world except Owakudani in Japan. These black eggs are boiled in the sulphurous waters of this active volcanic region in Hakone Valley, West of Tokyo… and it naturally causes the shells of these chicken eggs to go black!
According to the locals, legend has it if you eat this black egg… you’ll get seven extra years of life?! I didn’t want to take any chances (but also… it’s mostly because I really love boiled eggs)
