Mt Fuji Receives its First Snowfall of the Season #japan #mtfuji

On October 23rd, 2025, Mount Fuji has received its first snowfall of the season from the previous night and now has its iconic snow cap. This snowfall does come 21 days later than an average year due to it being warmer than normal in Japan. This snowfall was still 15 days earlier than last year’s snowfall, which was the latest snowfall on record for the mountain. If you are traveling to Japan soon, then hopefully you are able to take some stunning photos of Mount Fuji with its snow cap. Typically, Mount Fuji is only visible for around 70 to 80 days per year with clouds, haze, and rain typically covering it most of the year.
