Steal my Itinerary in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan #travel #japan #traveljapan #japanitinerary

Steal my itinerary in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. This episode includes gelato, dinner, and an activity. We’re starting with the seven levels of matcha gelato. For two people, we decided on trying the first, a number in the middle, and the last level. The first was very sweet and tasted like a matcha latte from Starbucks in Japan. The last was a little too bitter for my preference, and the number four was perfect and tasted like the matcha Tokyo lattes. This was perfect because we enjoyed number four and mixed one and seven to balance out the bitterness. Dessert before dinner was a good call because we walked on over to this popular local Japanese steak bowl spot and waited an hour. It’s cash only here and you choose the meat size, the type of rice, and any additional toppings. I chose the small size with garlic rice and an addition of an egg yolk and love the open kitchen to watch all the workers prepare our meal. Here’s what the medium size looks like, which is 30 g more meat for an additional 300 yen. They load the bowl up and top with onions, a delicious whipped butter scoop. And if you chose garlic rice, they’ll add garlic chips to your bowl. This was such an amazing meal in a cozy atmosphere filled with many locals. $11.90 yen was my total in October of 2024. And for under $8, you couldn’t beat this highquality and affordable steak dinner. Onto our evening activity for a nice rooftop view. Bring a 100 yen coin to lock up your stuff since you can’t have any bags on the roof. Then take an escalator and enjoy the rooftop views from this sky deck. It was tough trying to book a sunset slot, but I highly recommend you still visit and get tickets on Cluke for any time of the day. We got to see sites like the Shibuya crossing from above and the red Tokyo Tower landmark in the distance. It was peaceful and fun to sit, relax, and soak up all of the emotions of being in such a beautiful country. Follow along for more itinerary wrecks.
