9 UNMISSABLE Spots to see Mt. Fuji πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅πŸ”οΈ

If Mount Fuji is on your bucket list, then stop scrolling because these are the best spots that you cannot miss. Fuji Kawajiko. First up is the iconic Chorito Pagoda. This place really didn’t disappoint, but here’s some tips to make sure you get the best experience. First tip is getting the first train out. We got ours at half six and there’s barely anyone on it. The walk from the station is in 5 minutes and then you’ve got to hike up 400 steps to get to the top. There were some gorgeous little viewpoints like this along the way. Oh yeah, and look out for the bears. The view here completely took our breaths away and it was as good as every photo we’d ever seen. But make sure you leave yourself at least two days because look at this. On the first day, we could not see Fuji at all. Getting here early is a must because there’s barely anyone here now when we were here, but when we left, it got super busy, which is just not the experience you want. Next stop is Honcho Street. We walked here from the Torito Pagodo, it took like 20 minutes. Another very iconic spot, but also try and get here as early as possible. One because of cars and two because of people. As you can see, it gets super busy and you can only cross when the light is red and there are people patrolling this. This was the chaos a little bit further up the road. But if you’re in need of a fueling break after this, then head to Fab Cafe. The coffee here was great. The breakfast was divine and the aesthetics are on point. The next spot is a bit of a secret and we walked in from Fab Cafe. This is two Chome Street. It was giving the same aesthetics as Honcho Street, but way less busy and chaotic. We just happened to stumble upon this point, so make sure you save it if you’re heading here. Another spot we discovered when walking here was the crossing of the Fujiku Railway and the Oi Mazaka Dori Road. It goes without saying to be very very careful here of the trains. The next spot is Shimo Yoshida station which is the stop that you will get off at when you’re visiting the pagoda. Great for those aesthetic platform shots and also don’t miss Fuji on the train. Next up is we made the error of going to the super famous and Instagrammable Lawson which has Mount Fuji behind it and people are queuing by the dozen to get a shot in front of it which is just mental. Uh yeah, I have no no more words. It’s a shame. Yeah, this spot was crazy. So, if you do want to get this shot, then make sure you are here literally at sunrise. But don’t worry if you miss that because there is a 7-Eleven a short walk away which is far less busy and equally as cool. Next, you’re going to be heading down to Lake Kawajiko. Absolutely beautiful on a sunny day like this one. Take a stroll around the lake or hop on a swan boat. Obviously, there’s tons of spots around here to get great views and clear shots with Fuji in. A short walk up from this is the Ubu Yagasaki viewpoint, which at sunrise time, you can get the perfect reflections of Fuji and the water. but we were here too late in the day. That’s it for our top spots. There are more but we managed to do all of these just in one morning because as we mentioned our first day you could not see Fuji. As for where we stayed, we stayed on Lake Kawajiko in a place called Kasouya which had its own private onson. And if you want somewhere to eat then head to the beef cutlet restaurant. Does what it says on the tin is absolutely delicious. Make sure you save this if you’re heading to Fuji and make sure you give us a follow if you’re heading to Japan soon because we will be sharing lots more videos with lots and tips just like this
