SOLO JAPAN TRAVEL VLOG🇯🇵: Explored Tokyo ALONE For The First Time At 20 (Could get used to this)
Sure. [Music] [Music] I had to pull out the baggie slits. I got my jean jacket. I The only reason why I put this on honestly is because I don’t want my luggage to be too heavy. [Music] [Music] I’m heading to my hotel. I’m about to take a shower. and then get ready. I’m going to head out for the night. I haven’t even like processed me being in Tokyo yet. I just have to sit down first. So, this is the hotel I’ll be staying at. So, I’m actually editing this and I would not recommend this hotel at all because there’s a lot of stories where they find people under their beds. And I found a strange man under my bed in my hotel room. I booked my solo trip to Japan because I thought Japan is very safe country. I stayed in very well-known chain hotel in Japan. a hotel and things of that nature. So, I would just not recommend. All right, you can proceed to pay this price. It’s your receipt. Thank you. [Music] So, like it’s a lot smaller than I thought. It’s all good, though. Today I would like to introduce you to how to work. Okay. No, but like how how did I even get here though? So plans for today. Day one is always going to be to rest because 12-hour flight is not for the week. That’s for sure. I’m going to go head out to a 7-Eleven. It’s like luckily 5 minutes away from here. I got to buy some Tylenol cuz luckily mother nature decided to kick in today. And luckily I have great intuition. Yeah, we’re in Japan. I thank God. Um, [Music] so I have like a pimple right here. I’ve been using um resin all to treat it. It has been going down. All [Music] right, it’s getting a little dark. Low got to hurry up. This smells so good. Um, the Arabian perfume. I don’t know how to pronounce it. Yara, it’s really good. Cool. Now, let’s get my shoes and let’s get the freet out of here. [Music] [Music] This is the back of the shirt. [Music] All right, I’m heading over to um the 7-Eleven now. It looks so night when it’s like It looks so nice when it’s in the shop now. All right, we found our way to 7-Eleven. The 7-Elevens in Japan are actually pretty decent. [Music] Good boy. [Music] So, we got our stuff from 7-Eleven. I’m going to start heading back to the hotel. I want to put my stuff down for a second. But I was going to get my camera, but I told the cashier I was like, I didn’t grab the but I um got some ice and that matcha thing cuz there was like a matcha hack that I keep seeing on Tik Tok. So, I’m going to try that. I’m like trying to get back to the hotel off like bare memory. I’m hope I’m not like getting lost right now. [Music] Wow. Let me shake [Music] so good. [Music] Oh, [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Why are they [Music] Okay. So, the same. Let me stop playing. [Music] Look at the crazy conversion. I got the batteries so I can use it on my um Nikon camera and stuff right here for now. I’m going to use it when I get to um what’s it called? Shinjuku. I’m going there to get some a couple of things. [Music] The next is the doors on the left side will open. Hello. Can you speak English? Yes, I can. Uh, I want to find the hotel around here. Do you know where? Uh, I want to go this one. Can I see the name? I’ll search for you. Oh, like right off um Skywalk like this. You want a hotel by there? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, okay. I say the tourist come at the night. Yeah. Where we going? Where we go to eat, to drink, to like eat. Where? Is this your first time? Yeah. Me too. Oh, you first time over here too? Yeah. I think that I wouldn’t be the best person to ask honestly. But you first time here too. Where you from? New York. New York. Yeah. Oh, I’m from uh Houston. Houston. A lot of people he cannot speak English. Yeah, I’ve been learning Japanese a little bit. I’m decent. A little bit. This is um a good hotel. I was close by is around here, right? Yeah, that’s good. This is beautiful. Like [Music] [Music] All right. Currently in my clothes. I’m going to try on some real I’m getting something for my sister. Her birthday is October 13th. So I think I’m going to either buy it from here or um there’s like a thrift so I’m going to on Sunday. So either one, we’ll see. Should I cough? Green is my favorite color. So clearly that’s why I picked it. But this is comfortable. This is cute. So I did buy it and a couple of other things. So I’m going to do a haul later on. the money. [Music] These are cute. [Music] took a quick break. So, I get some matcha. It’s on the toast. [Music] Yo, the matcha heat is actually crazy. Like, how could you not like matcha? All right, this thing is like embarrassing me right now. for helping anyone genuinely just sit here and like Mara. That’s crazy. You’re missing out on Starbucks. No vanilla. No. So good. I like the no necklace I got going on cuz I used to like stack necklaces, but I don’t think I want to do that. Yeah, I don’t like the basics in Japanese, but I got to learn like the hard conversations cuz I was like I put the processing thing right here. That was weird just now. I was like, “Yeah, I know a little bit, but not car. I just tried this on. It’s um 29,000 yen, which means it’s like $200. I don’t know if I should get it. I like it though. It’s my style. $200 for a shirt. That was kind of crazy. [Music] [Music] Can I use Sure. You guys are so cool. Thank you. Love the shoes. The UV ones. They’re crazy. Yeah. I wish they they had them in bigger sizes. I just bought this bag. Oh, that’s crazy as well. [Music] I don’t even understand. I’ve been to like six different stores looking for a diploma. Um, ballet. I think this is the one. I have a good feeling. [Music] I love it. It’s cute. Trust your intuition, guys. These are really cute. [Music] Are you taxi? I finally finished all my shopping and you know I just wanted to go back you know wind down. I was carrying a lot of things and my back, my legs, my arms, everything’s hurting. So I’m just heading back to the hotel. But this view is like actually so beautiful. Like I just love the way Tokyo looks at night. It looks so beautiful. Like it’s actually unreal. But um I’m going to be heading back to the hotel and like I mentioned earlier, I’m going to be doing a haul. It might be a separate video just because I know I’m going to get a lot of stuff. Okay. Hi. Oh, the opposite doors will open. [Music] [Music] So, normally at this time, if you’re not able to read um You’re too loud. Come on. All right. If you’re not able to read military time, that is 8:38. Normally, at this time, people are going to the club um and spending the night out. But I came home after all my shopping and after breaking my back, carrying all these bags back to the hotel and I decided to just wind down. I feel like that’s very important, especially if you’re going on a trip that involves a lot of walking cuz I did walk a great deal today. It’s very important that you just wind down. That’s not what where I was going. Where was I going with that thing? Long day. H seemed like it seems like it was a long day for sure. Yeah. Well, anyway, um I’m busy watching some Bleach right here cuz I am so not caught up on Bleach and I haven’t actually genuinely watched the anime since like 2023 like fully of course like I watch Demon Slayer and things like that, but I don’t count that cuz it’s just a movie. I haven’t like actually watched anime realistically in a while. So, I will also do a video on I don’t want to talk too much. I hate when people start rambling and rambling, but I’m actually interesting. So, you should stay and listen. Um, I’m going to make a video on like the how do you say that word? Necessities. The necessities um that you need for Japan cuz there’s a lot of things I’ve realized. Um, I wouldn’t say I’m fluent in Japanese, but I know the basics cuz obviously I watch anime, it becomes repetitive, so I understand it. like um I understand. Um Konisha obviously hello. Thank you. Basics. These are basics. And also Japan is not as expensive as people are making it out to be. Like I I just work hard. Like just to simplify, I just work hard honestly. But enough of my rambling. I’m going to read my book and I’m going to wash my bleach. And then by the time I’m done with that, um, I’m going to knock out [Music] [Music] [Music] It’s not bad. [Music] The next station Oh, I can’t [Music] [Music] We finally made it there after 3 hours on the train in Spain. But we are at Universal Studios. It’s going to rain in a few. That’s what happens when I’m like a huge fan of Mario, believe it or not. [Music] I want to bring so much cuz remember I got to pack it in my suitcase. So, [Music] all right. I’m actually going to come back a little bit later. I’m going to see what else they have here cuz it is my first time. I [Music] feel my body just [Music] make [Music] I swear you want to see [Music] me. [Music] [Music] Never money [Music] I feel good. [Music] All right. So, I ordered um a burger and fries. [Music] I don’t know when I get back. Say your names. Andy, where you from? Are you a YouTuber? You living here? Uh, visiting. Visiting. Mhm. Give me your uh YouTube account. Sure. You have Instagram? Yes. I got my Instagram, too. Okay. Your Instagram? Yes. You want Can you hold this for me, please? Okay. Thank you. Thank you. You talk to them. Talk to my boss, brother. [Laughter] Okay. Did you find? Yeah. Japanese. That’s my name. Oh my goodness. How are you? [Music] Oh, you like anime? Yes. Follow. [Music] You have to follow me. Nap was so good on that um bullet train. I lost my head scarf. It’s ugly though. I’m drained. People are staring at me like I’m crazy. I look kind of crazy though. I’m going to go home and knock you out. It’s like a 18minute walk. Um 7 minute. I’m not waiting for that. What the [ __ ] Uh-uh. It’s like a line of people waiting for a taxi. It looks like a stack of sardines. I’m actually so tired. Like, but day was amazing. I made a couple of friends, had fun. Pretty cool. All right, just got out of the shower. I’m going to moisturize a bit. I’m use Victoria’s Secret outfit so far has been eating. I don’t even do that for real. But so not much more to say. Today was a successful um 6-hour travel in total to go to Osaka and back. Crazy, but we got it done. So, all right, my loves. Good night. [Music] All right. So, the plan for today is I’m going to um pack my things up cuz my checkout is at 10:00 a.m. right now. I’m still listening to some worship music. I’m going to do some laundry. This is like chill chill. This is like a lot. I got to pack this up. There’s like a lot more things that I wanted to do on the trip. But I am not the type of person to rush things and push it all into one. So, I’m saving it for next year when I go with my friend Matthew Brown. My friend Matthew Brown or my sister or my brother. Those are the three people I’m going to Japan with next. And now I know how everything works. Time is now 5:10. I’m going to take care of that and I’ll see you guys in a couple hours. All right. So, we’re going to end off with me going to um a lantern festival. I already packed all my things. I’m just running outside my hotel right now for the um taxi. It was only $20. Normally New York that would have been like 100. It’s crazy. [Music] That’s beautiful. Wow. I’m going to ask him if I could like leave my suitcase here. There’s kind of a lot security. I pulled out the um I think it worked. He’s finding me a place to put my luggage right now. It is actually so hot. I’m basically at the beach, too. We got two in one. Like, you can’t tell me. You can’t tell me this is not a good way to end off the trip. Like, I didn’t even plan this. I’m not going to lie. Everything just keeps falling into place. everything else I planned except for um Universal Studios, but everything just falls into place when you just trust God. Amen. Can I get an amen? [Music] She’s ninja. I’m crying. [Music] [Music] Yeah. [Music] [Music] You want flash? [Music] Take it higher. [Music] 2.5. [Music] I hate to do this, but stay tuned for part two. It’s honestly been such an unreal experience. I love it. I have never traveled alone in my life before, so it was kind of surprising how I was able to pull this off. But hope you guys enjoyed. And there will be a part two because this is about to be like 2 hours long. But um yeah, stay tuned. Bye-bye. Hide it in the sun. [Music]
