22 Hours in the Suite of Japan’s Fastest Mega Ferry: Full-Course Dining (Hokkaido to Maizuru)
I’m taking the Shin Nihonkai Ferry from Otaru (Hokkaido) to Maizuru (Kyoto). I booked the largest suite this time. Suite includes full corse meals.

There was no table or chairs outside and that terrible noise all night… I would want a refund 😕 (not to mention the dirty furniture)
Thanks for the videos! I hope to get a ride or two in when I visit Japan!
I do wonder if Nomad Push took this Ferry with Moped San…? He IS afterall leaving Hokkaido to go back to Honshu… 🤔 A collab or cameo would be so cool.
Curry rice = japanese life force
7:03 What a nice way to say stained 😂😂😂
❤❤
Are the company should sell those really nice plates as souvenirs – I'd buy them.😁
lol the cups look like happy little men presiding over their amenity kingdom!
SNF is second rate for passengers. Maybe for truck drivers and their companies it is better, but for passengers it’s all a bit crap. Something to endure, but not have an enjoyable ‘cruise’.
You're lucky that sofa can't talk. His n hers showers so you can have at the same time. She's entitled to groan at 21. So happy you have the best appetite of any traveller. Great memories getting a trip in near the end of her voyages. Well done.
I'm curious what they do when they retire a ship. Do they sell all of the furniture, utensils, etc? 😅
Wow I can almost smell the newness, great room. The ships brightness is refreshing and shiny. I will Crack a beer with you and let's order some curry and Xtra rice. Life is good…😊
That is a beautiful ship. Japan is so clean!
Sad that the shoppe and amusement room were closed.
Curry to the rescue! The fancy dining seem to fit the ship's aging personality. Happy retirement Hamanasu.
If you showed how fast the ferry was going, I missed it. This is supposed to be the fastest mega ferry. That rattling most likely is due to the speed it is going.
Thanks
always carry nice soft silicon ear plugs!
👋✌️🍻
1k+
seikomart? i just saw another Japanese Youtuber who touted them, they have some great cheap eats so I understand why you’re stopping there for some supplies😎
Solo Travel San , a fitting trip for you and an old lady, before she retires to the Med or the Carribean. Im sure she is pleased that one of her final trips is documented. ❤ Take care my faraway friend . Should we ever meet , all the SJT gang? Im sure as eggs come from chickens that you will never need to buy curry again ❤😂
Ehhh… what was it, $370+? Did not seem worth it. I don't know if I would have paid $200 for that trip… maybe it is a good thing she is retiring. Thank you for taking us along!
Solo Travel Japan … Don’t think I would sleep through that creak either,at least you haven’t lost your sense of Humour 😅Thanks for the video ❤
Great trip. Since the ship going retired soon, I hope this ship got second life somewhere outside Japan, because everything looks okay despite some rattling noise, strain, and history. Overall great cabin and great food.
Oh god no 5:16 don’t say something is a retro feel, and then put a date at six years after I was born
The warranty expired three stains ago! 😂😂😂 Are they just retiring the ship? Or cancelling the route? There seemed to be nobody on board except you…..
In America, there was an old commercial that stated, “There’s always room for Jello” which is a gelatin dessert. Your slogan is, “There’s always room for beef curry!” 😊. Very enjoyable. The shaking was reason enough to retire the ship. Safe voyages!
You pay extra to stay in that room?
