Trying Morinaga Chocolate Bar Ice Cream in Japan ๐ฏ๐ต
I think this one’s supposed to be famous. It’s like a chocolate bar with ice cream inside. And apparently it is called a chocolate bar. Is literally called a chocolate bar. Yeah. Not the most exciting name. It’s just snap. Yeah. You just Huh? Wait a minute. What? It said snap and then uh what? Okay, I think that means snap in uh Wait, it said I’m sure it said snap. Now it’s it’s saying something totally different now, guys. In all sorts of different ways. It’s saying this word. I thought it said snap. Okay. So, we’ve got the cardboard packaging with the silver sleeve. Oh, it just does look like a big old a big old chocolate bar. You know, if you’re going to buy an actual chocolate bar. And it it’s it’s thicker than I thought it was going to be. It’s thick chocolate and vanilla ice cream. I’m assuming vanilla ice cream stuffed. Very crispy. M. Oh, it’s so sweet and so creamy. M. Oh.
On my quest to try every ice cream snack in 7-Eleven’s freezer cabinet, I gave the ‘Chocolate Bar’ by Morinaga a go.

That looks incredible! So glad youโre enjoying it over there!
This little aluminum on the cold chocolate bar, it reminded me so much of the movie called "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory" the way you wrap and rip this cold chocolate bar. Yes, so the word "Paki" means "snap" or "crack," I don't even know honestly, but either one of these two. The cream looks beautiful and now our taste buds starts to form out with the excitement, especially for the snack time of the day. ๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐ฅถ๐ง๐โโ๏ธ

This Japan series is soo relaxing to watch, it feels like I'm literally traveling along with Dale!! ๐๐๐
I think it said "Paki" because in Japanese that is what they call snap ๐๐๐
Must of been up all night thinking of that one ๐
Loving the japan vlogs can you just move there forever? Thanks ๐
Never heard of crispy icecream or chocolate ๐
Always knew the Japanese were racist but I thought they did it more politely ๐
Paki Paki is a Japanese onomatopoeia, describing the sound when you snap the bar in half. Japanese is full of these kind of sound words.

You are cool and white
You are cool and white ๐
Canโt wait to see Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. Would also love to see Nagoya too ๐๐
I think it did say the word ๐
I like the way Google translation merely wanted to describe what the texture is but suddenly began to spew out derogatory words๐
What's it say dale hmmmm๐๐๐
I wonder if itโs better than a Klondike bar
Just eat the ice cream
Pls turn off automatic translation to another languages, it s awful
Hi Dale, random question but have you came across any 'Undertale' Bandai gatcha capsules whilst there? Tc
this is hilarious ๐
In English, โsnapโ is an onomatopoeia (sound word) for something breaking, cracking, or making a sharp sound.
Japanese has its own set of sound words, and ใใญ (paki) is one of them.
ใ gives a popping sound, and ใญ gives a sharp, crisp ending. Together, ใใญใ feels like something breaking cleanly โa twig snapping, a cracker breaking, joints cracking, etc.
So, when translators want to render โsnapโ into Japanese onomatopoeia, ใใญ (paki) is the closest match.
Video 10% rest mmmm 90%
Haha, love that word.
From Japan. The recent ice cream poll is currently being rebroadcast. It was broadcast on TBS as "Sekai Kurabete Mitara." People from various countries, including the US, Belgium, and the World Expo site, tasted 10 different Japanese ice creams and voted for their favorite.
