This might be the strangest vending machine in Japan, and it is so easy to miss. Hidden away in this massive complex called Big Step in Osaka is one of the strangest, most out ofplace vending machines I’ve ever seen. But I heard that what comes out is actually very delicious. I don’t know if I believe it, so today we’re going to find out. This vending machine sells all sorts of messed up desserts, including a little guy holding a finger like a stuffed animal, which is deeply unsettling. So, I tried three things. For starters, the finger. I was very worried about what the nail was, but it looked cool. All the items were chilled, and it was surprisingly good. Like really good, actually. The peanut nail caught me by surprise. Then there was the berry ear. See the jelly on the side where it was removed? This was somehow even more delicious. But lastly, our little friend. This is one of the most unique cookies I’ve ever seen. It is so ridiculously cute and weird. I was almost sad to eat him, but of course, he was yummy. They all come out with dark fortunes, like the finger that came with a fortune about being swallowed by time, so that’s fun. Also, this building has an incredible pingball arcade and a skate park and so so much shopping. There’s so many reasons to be here.
