If you visit the Snow Monkeys in Nagano, you'll only see a small cafe near the entrance. If you walk down the slope to the parking lot area, there's actually a pretty good Soba Restaurant called RAUSAN. Soba in Nagano is highly praised. In fact, most of the buckwheat that goes into making good soba is either from Hokkaido or Nagano, so do try Soba when in Nagano!
