During the ride, you’ll be able to learn more about this shy creature that lives in the Hosu River, which the Sagono Romantic Train runs past. This is only available in carriage one.
From September 9th to September 30th, 2025, you can ride alongside adorable giant salamander plushies in a specially decorated carriage. Learn all about these shy creatures as you travel along the beautiful Hozu River.
