So, we are going to Kochi Perfecture Machino Botanical Garden to see some uh amazing plants and uh greenery and uh nature. Let’s go. For just 730 yen, you can visit the Machino Botanical Gardens. There’s an array of plants, flowers, and trees for you to view. The garden is split into many different areas, and you can spend half a day walking around taking Instagram worthy pictures. The air is so fresh here. Then there is water streaming. It’s just so wonderful. And if you want to dye yourself with more colors, go to the conservatory where they house even more varieties of plants and flowers. I am going to miss this place. So nice. There is beauty in every season. Even after winter, the banners creates patterns that are gorgeous in their own right. One hour later. Hello. You’re the first here. What are we eating? We eating fusion today. So, we’re going to show you what you eat. Okay. [Music] just to [Music] uh our good friend T just found us this nice place to to eat. It was not planned. She we she just like really resourcefully just Googled it, checked out the reviews and then we came here. Yummy. Yes. Yes. Yes. How come the place is so dark? Because it’s like a chill cool place. It’s like a fusion of different cultures. Let me just show you. Let me show you a little bit. H. Give me a moment. How do I reverse? Ah, this. Check out this cool stuff. Look at that. There’s sculptures. There is spices. And my favorite, there is alcohol. There is Malibu. And uh yeah. Yeah. You all know which one. For those of you who know, you know, okay, for those of you who don’t know, you don’t know. Don’t stop. And then we are covered by this really beautiful uh fabric. I have no idea. Don’t ask me what culture this is, but it looks Japan. Someone someone said Balanese. Balan. Yeah, it feels Balanese. And then like on the walls here very very there is uh some basks some sculptures very nicely designed and it’s very it’s very private you see like we are all like in a very nice little room very cozy but right now the food is not here we just ordered only but uh we we will introduce to you the food as we go but let me just share with a few groups of few more group of friends go ahead and comment and like like and share okay because when you like and share your friends get to see and then you guys can chat about them then you know what we can we can do like something special next time you know together. It’s like, can you hear the sizzle? There’s still sizzle sounds. [Music] Thumbs up. But [Music] can you see the smoke? It’s smoking. It’s smoking. Look at that. Uh, I guess [Music] so. Beautiful. Wo, this stream is quite high definition. Or maybe it’s just the phone. Can y’all see clearly cuz it looks amazing. It’s glittering in the light. This is point dining pork. Pork. Shimanto pork. Eugene approved fried chicken. [Music] Thank you all for joining us. Even though even the people who left protect you in this. I’m going to do videos and laugh at you. We are doing more tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So see you there. Be there or be square or shave your head like me. No, I’m okay. Bye. Hey guys, sorry to interrupt the video, but I really want to tell you a little bit about Hungry Bros Club. So, if you watch my video, I wear a hat that says HBC. I have a jacket on that says Hungry Bros Club. Hungry Bros Club is a community that I set up postco and is a group of my friends. We are about 268 strong now and it’s growing. Uh we are just a group a community of people who love to eat together, play games. Uh I think we just played blood at the clock tower recently. Uh and also we’re going to travel together. So this session was actually like a wrecky session for the Hungry Bros Club. Now if you are in any way interested to travel to this location called Kochi in Japan. It’s excellent, excellent place. I can’t wait to go back again. There is an opportunity for you to travel with us. I want you to comment below or even send me a DM on either YouTube or uh Instagram or anywhere else. I’ll be available. Just text me that you’re interested because we have an excellent price. We are partners with Royal Wings Travel and uh they gave us a really good price to experience Kochi. Uh so let’s get back to the video now. Day two internet just woke up. Apparently I was really tired. I uh fainted to sleep pretty quickly last night. Um today is pretty exciting. We’re going to go into another place pretty far away. So we might wait for like Bami taxi. Yeah. And uh let me show you the view of from the room. I miss the sunrise. Apparently it’s really sunrise happens really early. [Music] First things first, we got to have a good breakfast. Yeah. Let’s go eat some good breakfast before heading out. [Music] has arranged for really nice breakfast apparently with mini mini fire stoves. [Music] 20 minutes later to the train station. Now we are going to Shimanto another place. We have checked out of the hotel and going to another one. [Music] Taking the 820 Nakamura to Shimanto. Let’s go. [Music] Okay. [Music] Is your Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] We are here at Tosakur. Let me show you some of the sites. I am ready for an adventure. Let’s go. [Music] [Applause] We found a really cute coffee place, but it is currently full house. It was just right outside the train station. Tossa Korea train station. Just right outside the TSA train station. Someone was really kind to give up and come out early so that we can have our seats. Cue lowi music. [Music] So, we have had our coffee diner. Where are we going now? We’re going to go. [Music] This is Nishioa Sake Brewery, main brewing Kura, which means storehouse. And it’s over 200 years old. It’s the oldest existent sake brewery building in Kochi. Uh, visiting this place definitely opened my eyes to what sake brewery was like last time. And uh they have a small tasting room with several types of sake and liquor stocked and a whole bottles for sale as well as uh brewery related products. [Music] also [Music] have a sampling of the rice wine here. So you can go ahead and try out the flavors that they have uh created and cured. Um, [Music] one of my favorite things to do is to buy local food, small stalls that, you know, tourists wouldn’t go usually. So, um, this is donuts and fishcake, and it’s immensely delicious. I’m going to show you how I’m enjoying myself. Off to the fish market. I don’t know how to further elaborate how useful this guide book is. For those of you who like free and easy, right, we often struggle with where places are and then waste like half an hour to 45 minutes to uh find um even on Google maps because things change and this book has everything from pictures to directions to even what you should try before you leave so that we don’t have the regret of ah lama this is the last day and I forgot to try this. Yeah, it’s a really great guide book. Uh, if you have any questions, drop a comment below and I’ll do my best to answer them. A short while away is the Kur Taiishom Machi Market. This produced market has served as the local people’s kitchen since the early 1900s. It features everything from fresh local fish to processed goods, everyday dishes, vegetable and fruits and more making it a popular tourist destination. In addition to the morning catch, there are also fish caught in afternoon. So many visitors come in morning 2 p.m. Hi. Hi. Now doing the pretty [Music] [Music] I can see from Okay. [Music] What you got? [Music] Wow. Wow. [Music] to the same room. [Music] We were shown to a very secret place to have our lunch [Music] [Music] [Music] At the Tanaka Fresh Fish Shop, you can purchase the fish on display and enjoy them immediately along with rice and miso soup at the dining hall across the street. The cure rice bowl made from fresh sashimi and household dishes served on rice in the dining hall is another very popular option. [Music] [Music] 20 minutes later. Um, so like I heard that if there is a tsunami, this is the place that everybody will run through the high ground and uh that that’s where we’re going. The view is going to be absolutely stunning there. Here at another shrine, we’re going to go in and there’s going to be a challenge from one of my friends. So, let’s go and check it out. In this drawing, the deity of the sea is uh venerated in hope for a good catch me. There’s this huge stone or rock with a hole in the middle. The practice is if we can go through the rock uh all of the bad and negative things you can leave it behind and then you go talk to the tree you know prayer or you know talk to it. So let’s try it. It’s actually really small. I can do this. Yo. Yeah. And we’re back here. We’re going to go to the next location. Let’s go. Definitely one of the places to visit. Accessible by train hotel first. Check in. Then we’re actually going to take a boat today [Music] 96 only because got through the mountain here. A local attraction is called the Chin Ka Bashi. A submissible bridge without railings that sink below the water in a swollen river spanning the entire river. Raining right now. It might not be the most beautiful scenery, but we’re still going to take the boat and uh praying that God will stop the rain soon. I prayed really hard for the rain to die down or even stop and the Lord answered and we could go on the boat. [Music] shoes. Take off our shoes. Oh, we take off our shoes. Have the entire boat ourselves today. So private private trip private trip behind me. Awesome. Let me show you the scenery. [Music] Before I tell you more about this river, if you like what I’m doing, please remember to like and subscribe. This is a YouTube channel and uh sometimes I really get motivated when people react to the video. So, thank you in advance. That was the Ching Kabashi that I told you about earlier. This 196 km Shimanto River whose headwaters are on Mount Irzu in Sununo town is the longest river in Shikoku and is known as Japan’s last remaining limpit stream. You can see the relationship between the river and the local residents who live in harmony with nature amid landscapes that vary from season to season. The Agency for Cultural Affairs has designated the entire Shimano to River basin as an important cultural landscape. I’ll keep quiet now and let you enjoy. [Music] Hey guys, so we checked into the hotel right now. We are going shopping first. So yeah, let’s go shopping. So there was little shopping to be done because uh I think we were late and their normal business hours is in the morning and afternoon. But it will mean that we have dinner earlier. We’re going to this place called Chika Theater. Um I I believe that it’s called Chika Theater because we’re going to like like watch a performance of our food. I’m really hoping it’s going to be like a master chef uh throwing fish in the air and you know like creating rice balls in front of our eyes and stuff like that. It’ll be pretty awesome. So, let’s go. [Music] We about to get into the taste theater chica uh to try a range of local dishes uh in this restaurant that looks like a theater. Inside the restaurant is shaped like a fan, meaning that no matter which seat you’re in, you’re going to get a great view of the kitchen in action. This as big as my head. Same. [Music] [Music] I love you. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Yeah. What’s special about the restaurant is it is called chicken. But you know what? I got to show you guys something. They pull the pool up. They pull the food up from level one. The police system goes down. The chef will put a new dish. Go up again. Oh, it’s six. Yeah. So interesting, right? So cute. Uh we’re going to end the stream now. Bye guys. Thank you all for being here. Stay tuned for our next stream. It probably be um I don’t know where it will be, but stay tuned for next stream. Bye. Later that night in the shopping street right now, but most of the shops here are closed. Uh because it’s a small town and most likely more everybody’s going home to sleep. It’s not a lot of activity, just restaurants left right now. Lot of nice little restaurants. Um yeah, just nice little restaurants and uh and the convenience store. Uh yeah, I mean like the more people people find about this place is going to be bustling with life. It’s going to be awesome. Um, but right right now it’s just a small town with um a lot of different shops [Music] and onen. I’m going to onen tonight. Wait, can you onsen after a really heavy dinner? I don’t know. Maybe. All right, let’s let’s go. Let’s go check it out. The next morning [Music] Breakfast at this hotel is absolutely stunning. I love scrambled eggs, you guys know. And breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So, I’m going to keep quiet right now and let you guys watch me eat. [Music] [Applause] See [Music] [Applause] [Music] That’s enough. [Music] I really like the being away from the hustle and bustle of life and business and you know having time to reflect. learn about other people and their their local uh stories and uh traveling just uh for me traveling just really soothes the soul. [Music] We have arrived at Aioui Cape. We’re going to go walk around. I’ll show you some sites and uh I think it’s going to be beautiful cuz we are very near the coast. [Music] Wow. [Music] Located at the southernmost tip of Shikoku, Japan’s largest chalk lighthouse sits in a beautiful harmony with the deep blue of the Pacific Ocean and the sheer granite presser pieces. Walk along the esplan. Enjoy the hukusan taste carved by the waves. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Can’t open my eyes. The sun is all too hot, too bright. The waves crash different here. So beautiful. Of course, we must take multiple videos and photos so our friends back in Singapore can get jealous. [Music] This is a Congo Fukuji temple. Uh it is one of the more interesting one located at the south tip of Kochi. Uh and uh let’s go [Music] right here. Travelers can wash their hands and their face. And uh about the temple, Kongo Fukoi is one of the most impressive temples along Shikoku’s 88 sacred temple pilgrimage located at the southern tip. Uh Kongo Fukuji is number 38 and is also one of the most difficult temples to reach. Uh it is over 70 km from both the temple before it on the trail and the one after. So we mustn’t forget to get stamped helicopter to prove that we have been here. [Music] This is one of the more difficult temples to reach for the 88 temple pilgrimage. Uh because before and after before the trail and after the trail uh it’s about 70 km uh each side which also means that there’s a long way before you can can sort of stop and rest. But I’m sure people like me on this kind of pilgrimage, I’ll probably sit down and rest first. 70 kilometers both ways. Wow. Located on a bluff above the sea at Cape Ashizuri, the temple grounds are immaculate and are full of interesting Buddhist stone carvings. If you’re here, I highly recommend at least half a day or 3 to 4 hours because there’s so much to see and also so be such beautiful scenery. Uh just opposite the temple there is a short walking trail that you can uh you know you can check out. It’s a short walk around a lighthouse uh overlooking the ocean. So I I bet you don’t want to miss that. Friend Diana bought us uh Mir M is like a a round shaped biscuit. Uh it’s uh I’m going to try it. Uh thank you Diana. M. It’s a bit salted as well. Very nice. M. [Music] So interestingly um the road that leads to the cape and the temple uh just about 700 m out um there is uh a foot bath place foot bath and I think it’s free. Let’s go check it out. [Music] Whoa. [Music] We actually did a live stream here and uh you have to follow us for such live streams. But this is the Tatsu Kushi Coast and it’s beautiful because it’s formed n naturally over years of waves crashing onto the shore and it’s formed this uh very unique uh stone paths. Uh and it’s just really uh very interesting. I don’t I’ve never seen anything like it. [Music] [Music] So, according to our little booklet, we are going to the Ashi Zuri Kurosio Market for lunch. And uh yeah, super excited having meal time. So, let’s go. [Music] [Applause] [Music] different. [Music] So last time I clean Two hours later. And of course, I would like to show you more footage of the aquarium, but I feel that you should be here yourself to take a look. It’s very nice, very calming, and of course, a whole range of different uh aquatic animals and fishes. Uh this area was named Japan’s first marine park in the 1970s and is now recognized as a national park. That funny looking shop. They’re cute. Is it cute? [Music] We’re going to buy a drink. Our trusty guard, Eugene. Hello. Clear a language. English. Okay to go to stay. Okay. Okay. What do they have? They have they have rich matcha. Rich matcha latte. Cola. Colaflow. $5. Asahib beer. Asahib beer. $550. So cheap. Or maybe it’s a small one. Yeah. Or you want is a set menu. Oh, ice cream. No. No. I’m going to have a cola cola float cola float issue ticket issue ticket. Oh, do I need to put the money first? Okay. 500, right? Yes. Sliss isue ticket. Okay. Ticket touch. Yeah, there’s a ticket here. Yay. and your change. Can the ticket have to have the ticket? Yay! Colola float. Cola float. M. Smooth. Wow. Oh, very milky. It’s different from Singapore. This place must have 3 hours. You were there just now. What I really like about this semi frenzy concept is that I can really spend more time where I want to. I can also spend less time if I decide that the place is not for me. And I really sometimes I just like to sit down and have ice cream or a cup of coffee and can do that anytime on this trip. the following day. So, we followed the guide book to Nakatsu Gorge. Uh the gorge rises above the Nakatasu River, a tributary to the glowing blue river that stretches out further below. In good weather, visitors can see the iconic Neodo blue color of the water as it pulls in basins around the gorge. And it’s really something that I will spend a lot more time at uh to enjoy nature, air, and a good walk. Mhm. [Music] [Music] [Music] Wow. [Music] Gucci. This is real guchi. [Music] Much much later. We should say kai story time. Last night we were walking around and we found this small restaurant ka place and then we it was full house so we couldn’t get in. Then we told the lady boss that we are coming today at 5:30 and then she made this gluttonous rice for us with peas and rice. Yeah. [Music] kind of [Music] 3 hours later. Hey guys, just want to give you a quick room tour of the hotel room in Shimanto. We checked into new Royal Hotel and here’s how it looks. I already came in, so sorry for the slight mess, but uh it’s uh quite spacious. This is my bed. Um uh someone else was supposed to be here, but uh for tonight I’ll be alone. Um they are they have multiple uh chargers. There is a USB charge as well, which I’m charging my power bank right now. There is also a Japanese two pin. Uh there’s an alarm clock if you need one. There’s a TV which sometimes I just on and keep it on. Uh you know, like the Japanese news channels a lot of you want to know. Um Audi bath. Uh nice mirror. Uh two towels. Uh we could have a bubble bath if you wanted to. Uh very clean as well. Um and uh yeah, you guys know about the Japanese uh Japanese um you know toilet. They are wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. Um every time I see on it is warm. And uh of course you know about the u mechanics. If not follow my Tik Tok. I’m going to have a funny video over there about that. This is the onen. For obvious reasons, I can’t film inside, but uh it’s filled with a lot of things that we require and I can’t wait. Let’s go. Hi everyone. I feel like I’m sneaking out. Um but you know, we had some naan earlier, but everyone uh was full and I didn’t want to be like the guy who wants to eat more. So, I didn’t say nothing. But right now, it is 11:00 and I’m hungry. So, we’re going to go out for a walk and we’re going to get some food. Uh, most likely we’ll be going to the convenience store instead of anything else because uh it’s just, you know, it’s just um everything is closed now. It’s pretty late. It’s safer to just go to Lawson, which is like the convenience store here. Let’s go. The the the streets are pretty empty at night. Uh but if you listen carefully, some of the restaurants here, they are fully packed like literally to the brim. No, no seats at all. Um some of the bars are also full as well. But from the outside looks as if like they are not really open. So it’s pretty cool that like it is empty streets and like randomly there will be a car, but it’s so empty and some some roads are pretty dark. So, you kind of like want to like, you know, uh, you know, kind of sus things out. Uh, don’t do dangerous stuff here, you know, like don’t just go and open some doors, but like just listen out for sounds and then inquire, you know, and and inquire politely, you know. So, here is the the night walk. I have a lot to carry bento and a lot of drinks on my on my little pouch on my little kangaroo pouch. And we are heading back to the hotel room. 8 hours later. We visited the Takura House and the Sukasa Botan Brewery and it was great. Prior to Japan, I um really love beer, but after coming, I think sake is my next new drink. Um there’s so many different types and uh a lot of them are very delicious. Yeah. [Music] Oh, she gave us a gift at the Sakawa Tourism Association and uh they they have a mini shop inside. So, I’m going to go in and check it out. [Music] Sorry about the finger on the top left. Uh this is a noop YouTuber here. But this is the Sakawa Bongo Kosha, a designated town cultural property and is the oldest wooden western style house in Kochi prefecture. Uh it is sudo western style and public building constructed in 1886 which was initially used as a police station. We reached the 100 year old uh Yunagi shop. Uh but it’s closed. It’s not open for dinner yet. Maybe next time. All right, we’re going to go back to the hotel. Let’s go. All right, we arrived at the train station. We are going to take the 5:30 back to Kochi Station. I’m going to show you around the station because it looks pretty interesting. If you really want to visit and experience Japan, and I’m not talking about those shopping and usual trips, you should come on one of these semi-free and easy trips because you literally get to take the bus in the train. You buy the tickets yourself. The instructions are all there so you don’t have to worry and you can take your time at each spot as long or as short as you want. I really, really like this version of uh a trip. [Music] founding car electric car on tracks. Let’s go. Hi. Wait. [Music] Hi guys. I’d like to show you the hotel room because it’s so beautiful and I have it all by myself. So, here it is. So, you come in, you take off your shoes first, put it nicely in, and then you’re greeted by a very small space. When I first opened this, I was pretty shocked. And then there is the bas in there. This is the shower if I’m not wrong. Nice little shower. I could do like a bath here. Shower. Or I can just squat down here for a shower. It’s beautiful. I love it. And there’s a basin over there. And a little lovely toilet and with with all the of course all the uh the remote. And the real room comes in these two doors. Voila. Look at this. Oh my gosh. It was at first it was such a small space and then now it’s such a huge spacious space with decorations, a TV. Um, and I really like this space where, you know, you can have a coffee or or sake with a friend. The bed is over there and uh there’s a wardrobe. Beautiful. Oh, this is for the um the blankets. There’s a place for you to hang stuff. Very spacious. And little fridge right at the bottom. Isn’t this amazing? Yay. Going to buy some things from 7-Eleven or Lawson and fill this up. Um, first it’s dinner time. [Music] Oh, [Music] wrong place. Hey guys, I’m just walking in the wee hours of the morning here in Kochi, Japan. I haven’t been to this part. I came all the way here just to take a short video of Starbucksu Starbucks for our little Tik Tok video. Um, but there is a huge ball here and uh and there is also a huge ass uh uniform huge uniform on in the air right there. Um, it is an advertisement for student uniforms, but it’s huge. I guess that’s for a girl. That’s what girls wear. But there’s a lot of um shops that I’ve missed this time around. Maybe when we come back again, we’ll check all these places out. I think this is actually a boat company. Pretty awesome big uh billboard, big sign board, and awesome uh awesome awesome uh pictures of boats. And I’ve I think I also crossed like the street where all the bars actually are which is pretty awesome because uh you know you guys know uh I have been trying to find what where is happening where where they’re like fun places to be and a lot of them are just like small bars like this and people will just sit um near the the the tabletop and just order a drink and which is really cool which is really cool. I think it’s time to head back. I’ve been walking in circles. I’ve met really interesting people and and uh yeah, I think I going to finish taking my videos and then I’m going to head home. He hit back to the hotel. Sorry, I just saw something else which I’ll talk about back in my room. Not not here. Not now. The next morning here at the Sunday market. Uh it only happens on Sunday where the farmers from all over Kochi comes here and uh put up their store. So let’s take a look at what they’re selling. [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] This is a ginger. [Music] [Music] We have reached another shopping street and we’re going to go in and check out. Our friends has already gone on in without us. through the shopping street. We actually uh arrived at Kochi Yosakoy Museum. Let’s go in and check it out. So over here you can actually uh learn the dance. You can take the little dance instruments there. You can put on some coats that they have provided. They have different sizes and you can follow two very energetic posts to learn to dance. Pretty pretty fun. The museum is full of colors and festive photographs from the previous years. You can see their passion and their energy when they are dancing. It’s really really interesting to watch. Now the festival happens every year but you can come here to the museum anytime you want throughout the entire year. They are free admission and you can come and and try out the dance and also check out the beautiful photos that are here. [Music] These are the instruments that they use to dance. It makes a clipping sound. [Music] We arrived at uh Haneda airport and we need to go to Narita airport for our next flight back to Singapore, Chang airport. So we are here and we bought at uh 7. We bought our tickets over there, the orange one for 3,00 3,200 yen uh ticket to airport. It’s going to take us about 85 minutes before we arrive back in Sunny Island Singapore. See you. Hey guys, thank you so much for watching the video. Every view counts and the fact that you came all the way to the end of video, I really want to thank all of you. Uh but also I want to remind you that we are traveling together very soon. We are going to go chi Japan together. Just imagine us hanging out, having sake together and sashimi, uh chatting, uh and then walking the river gorge, walking the botanical gardens, breathing the fresh air, um experiencing the different side of Japan that no one else actually experienced before. Um I think it’s going to be great. So I want to encourage you to DM me, tell me you’re interested to come and then we can have some conversations. If there’s a lot more people, we could open another group. We can I can go again. I don’t mind. I love the place. Uh but thank you again for watching the video and I hope to see you very soon.
