WORST And BEST Months To Travel To Japan #japan

This is why you should avoid these months in Japan and when to come instead. September is typhoon season and November is known as one of the peak tourism months due to the autumn foliage. Instead, come in October which has the most well- balanced temperature with little to no rain and it’s an amazing time to experience the start of autumn with little crowds. December is peak winter and everything is going to be expensive due to the festive period. Alternatively, come in January or February to experience the snow for a fraction of the price. April is cherry blossom season and it’s one of the most expensive months to travel to Japan. I personally prefer March where the season transitions from winter to spring. So, you’ll be able to spot some early Sakura blooms and experience everything that’s inspired by the Sakura season without the crowds. June is rainy season and it extends all the way to July and August, which is summer in Japan, making it hot and humid at the same time. May is a better month to visit Japan because it’s sunny but without the intense heat. Make sure to also avoid all these dates which are Japan’s biggest public holidays.

  1. In the months you avoid going to Japan to make Grace happy we suggest you visit Italy says Grace a Mia! [Grace's Italian cousin]

  2. Wonderful! I arrived at the very end of March this year, and Tokyo was still so cold that people in our group were buying thermals to wear under their clothes! But then, the weather started slowly transitioning, and three weeks later, at the close of the trip in Osaka and Hiroshima, the weather was warm and just about perfect!!

  3. Spoken like someone from a country without four seasons. Not hating but december is early winter that’s not that cold tbh. Peak winter is late jan and feb.

  4. Me watching this after I confirmed my flight to Japan in April

And my friend is going in December and April 😂

  5. Actually I recommend going in February because it's Chinese new year so everyone and their grandmas kitchen sinks are in Japan for the holidays
