• Opened in March 1968, Fuji-Q Highland sits in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi Prefecture, at the foot of MT. Fuji—an ideal blend of adrenaline and scenery.

Accessibility
• A short stroll from Fujikyu Highland Station on the Fuji Kyuko Line (JR Tokyo Wide Pass accepted)—buses also run directly from Shinjuku, Tokyo, and Yokohama.  
• By car, it’s conveniently accessible from Kawaguchiko or Fujiyoshida ICs via expressways. 

Theme & Highlights
• The park features nearly 40 attractions, including both high-thrill coasters and family-friendly zones like Thomas Land and La Ville de Gaspard et Lisa.  
• Also onsite: the Fujiyama Museum and Fujiyama Onsen (hot spring), which offers bathhouse relaxation and Fuji views from its restaurant. 

Signature Attractions

Fuji-Q Highland is renowned for its exhilarating, world-class roller coasters:
• Fujiyama – Once the world’s tallest and fastest coaster (1996), reaching 79 m tall and 130 km/h, with spectacular views of Mount Fuji.   
• Eejanaika – A “4th-dimension” coaster where seats rotate 360°, delivering 14 inversions, speeds up to 126 km/h, and heights around 76 m.   
• Takabisha – Famous for its 121° beyond-vertical drop, this coaster drops at 100 km/h and includes seven inversions.   
• Zokkon – A family-friendly, launched motorcycle-style coaster added in 2023, offering smooth acceleration and fun for riders of various ages.  
• Additional attractions include kiddie rides like Nia and Animal Coaster, Voyage Dans Le Ciel, plus other thrill rides and themed zones. 

Haunted Attractions
• Super Scary Labyrinth of Fear: a long walk-through haunted hospital experience lasting around 50 minutes—one of the world’s largest haunted attractions.   
• Other horror-themed attractions include the Haunted Hospital and Hopeless Fortress.

Dining
• Around 20+ eateries serve both Japanese (ramen, curry) and Western fare (burgers, pizza, gelato). Key spots include Food Stadium near Takabisha and Garden Kitchen@BASE near the second entrance.  
• Additional casual food stalls and a buffet-style Fujiyama Terrace with Fuji views ensure there’s something for every taste. 

Shops & Merchandise
• Over 10 souvenir shops offer a variety of goods, from anime-branded items (Naruto, Thomas) to Mt. Fuji-themed crafts. The largest shop is right before the main entrance. 

Meals & Relaxation
• Guests staying at the adjacent Highland Resort Hotel & Spa can enjoy early park access and free entry to the Fujiyama Onsen.

Tickets & Hours
• Park admission is free, but 1-Day Passes cost approximately: Adults ¥6,000–7,800; High school ¥5,500–7,300; Elementary ¥4,400–5,000; Infants & seniors ¥2,100–2,500. 
• Typical operating hours: 9 AM to 5 PM, though these may vary seasonally or during holidays.
