In the far north of Japan’s main island lies Aomori. The prefecture has a famed tradition of Nebuta festivals with their traditional floats—especially the festivals in the three cities of Aomori, Hirosaki, and Goshogawara.
The festival itself is the smallest of the three, but in Goshogawara the floats soar up to about 23m tall!
