【Nagoya】What to do if you have 2 hours at Nagoya station.
Nagoya station a station is usually a large iconic building that represent the city but when you actually get there you might find there’s no much things to do if you choose Nagoya as the last destination of your trip in Japan many of you will likely be flying out of chubu Center International Airport even you say International Airport there are not so many things you can do so some of you might want to spend the last bit of time around Nago station as much as possible so this time I would like to introduce a simple Guide to the area around Naga station and what I recommend spending a few hours there without wasting time okay first to avoid getting lost at nag station it’s recommended to familiarize yourself with the location of the golden clock and the silver clock the golden clock is located at the East exit of the station and the silver clock is located at the West exit okay back to the topic before introduce my recommended spots let me share some useful information for people who just arrived in Japan or about to go to the airport to fly over to your motherland let’s start with information for those who just arrived in Japan first thing is big camera big camera is an electronic store so you can buy things like prepaid SIM cards and phone chargers interestingly nagura station has two big camera stores one at the East exit by the golden clock and one at the West exit by the silver clock the big camera by the silver clock is right in front of the West exit the one by the golden clock is a bit tricker to find After exiting the East Side take the escalator on your left up to the Jr gate Tower mall where the store is located on the 9th and 10th floors prepaid SIM cards and chargers are sold on the 10th floor and a big camera accepts many payment methods so even you don’t have a cash you can use credit card Apple pay Google pay and even cryptocurrency Chargers in particular can vary by country due to voltage differences so the one you usually use might not work in Japan but when it comes to electronics products big camera can help you anything also if you meet certain conditions big camera offers taxfree me meaning you don’t need to pay consumption tax which is 10% of anything you are buying you can find more details in the video description next is Unico if someone doesn’t know what Unico is I would love to explain gently it’s basically the uniform of the Japanese people half joking meaning half true anyways Unico sells high quality clothing at reasonable prices depending on when you travel the seasons may be different from from your home country so some people may want to buy clothes locally by the way Unico is located on the 11th floor right about big camera by the golden clock I’m not sure how much they stock for the larger body sizes meaning that people who don’t have Asian background their body size is way bigger than ours but if you need to buy clothes for the season your traveling you should be able to find what you need now here is some info for those who have finished sightseeing and about to head to the airport it is takashimaya basement floor where you can buy Japanese food and sweets takashimaya is located on Golden clock side of the station the first floor has luxury brand stores for those with a big wallet douchebag uh sorry or those who doesn’t know what to spend money anyways the basement is where the food is if you’re type of person who doesn’t really care what to eat you can just grab anything like convenience store or fast food restaurant but some people might want to buy Japanese food or take out on the way going to the airport or for the airport the food is beautifully displayed and they offer a wide variety of Japanese food and sweets even me currently living in Nagoya I often come here to buy food or sweets so I highly recommend this place okay these are the first places I want to introduce now let me introduce two places I personally recommend the first spot is restaurant floor in the neighboring Jr gate Tower Plaza on the 12th and 13th floor one of the places I often go is humi Grill on the 13th floor of Jr Tower Plaza they serve California style cuisine actually most of their food is dorya I thought dorya is Italian food but based on Google dorya is a Japanese dish but anyways the meat dish is are really good [Music] by the way there also are the restaurants serving like Western and Chinese food so if you’re just looking for something to eat this is the place to go the next one is Starbuck if you don’t know what Starbucks is it is a place that provides fast internet with mediocre taste coffee and a lot of MacBook users the key point about this Starbuck is the view if you want to forget about your monthly bill or your annoying bosses face I recommend coming here and forget about anything everything everything anyways other than this beautiful view it’s just a Starbucks so if you have for couple hours to spend in Nya station I think going these places covers your time and if you’re heading straight to chubu centur International Airport try to reach to the golden clock and walk to the heroi side exit and you will see there’s a train platform going to the [Music] airport and the fastest and most comfortable way to get there from Naga station is by taking the mesu M Sky the M sky is an Express train and for an additional 450 Yen on top of the regular Fair you can get from nag station to the airport in just 28 minutes by the way I’ve heard that we can pay the fair using a credit card with touch payment even you don’t have a ticket or sua card so let me try so this is a brief introduction to some recommended places for spending a few hours at Nago station without wasting your time of course there should be another places you can go but I hope this video is helpful thank you for watching this video bye-bye [Music] [Music] a
It is just a video man talks about his recommended spot around Nagoya station.
