Japan Trip – Entire Trip Summary

Can they hear us? They can hear us. Oh my gosh. So guys, listen. We’re going to Japan. We’ve lost our minds, I think. So, but and we’re taking four children with us. Yeah, it’s kind of crazy, but the first leg of getting to the airport is at least done. Loaded up the car. All the kids got in the car. Ha met us. We didn’t forget a kid. No kids met lost. Ha met us at the house and drove us, which was very nice cuz then we didn’t have to park to do long-term parking and all of that. But we made it to the airport and we got through security and now here we are in the terminal waiting for our flight. We did get noticed that our flight is delayed in Minnesota to Tokyo. So, we’re hoping that doesn’t get delayed further due to an equipment issue. But yeah, here we are. So, we’ll be getting on the flight today. If not, tomorrow. So, we’re getting on the plane in about an hour. There’s another kid. There’s a kid. There’s kids everywhere. Cute, cuter, better. So, yeah. Big first international family trip. [Music] [Applause] [Music] So, we’ve landed in Minneapolis and our flight was already delayed due to equipment failures, but then we got a mysterious text saying that they need to find a crew for our plane. So, we don’t know what that means, but the board says everything’s on time. So, there’s two deltas and I’m Yeah. to landing and one was taking off. He keeps running to the window to see the planes and taking a video of them. That’s what he’s talking about. I’m exhausted. We board in about an hour. Praise Jesus. They just called our Zoom. We’re boarding. This plane is taking off. You guys excited? We’re taking off. It’s happening. It’s happening. This is Okay, so you know what I did is Okay, I’m going to take this. So, what I did was I didn’t think this was going to happen like this great because the last seats were like really cool, but like I was like I don’t know. Same. So Luke was like I think we’re going to get better seats for the 12-hour flight. And I’m like I don’t know. So, I kept low expectations and I was like, I think we’re just going to have the same seats, but it’s fine because he’s like, I don’t even know how low recline. But anyways, and then we get here and we get all this stuff. And we can close it if I don’t want to deal with him anymore. I hate you. But this is the greatest thing of all time. All time. Like it’s all of its fun. I love this. Hello. Hello. I’m literally so much more excited than you would ever think. I know. I don’t I’m glad we have 12 hours on this. Oh, yeah. We need What you doing back here? I’m back with journaling. I did today. Got a full art station going on back here. Really made yourself at home, haven’t you? I’m messy everywhere I go. Dad, now it’s not time. Made it. Yep. We’re alive. Made it through customs. Okay, so we managed to get all of our luggage and find our transport. Now we’re waiting for our transport to come pick us up. We just arrived at our place and Oki is showing us around. We travel light. [Music] This is so What do you guys think? This is awesome. You’re in Japan, buddy. I know. You’re here. Give a tour. Anna gives a tour. What? You can help. Yeah, we’re in Japan already. I know. Not already. That was like the longest day of my life. There’s house rules. And here’s the house rules. First rule on the list, before parking, no parties, and before no smoking. First rule, most important rule of all, no shoes allowed. I love it. Dad’s kind of. So, where are we going? Ramen. We’re going to get dinner at a ramen noodle place. So, we are in quiet the middle of the city, Tokyo. And just wait. I want you to listen. There’s people walking everywhere and there’s cars, but everybody’s so quiet. Quiet. Quiet. I watched it. No ambulance. I don’t know what you do if you need an ambulance. They just politely ask to be Okay, let’s go. Vending machines built into the walls of the city. The kids are so excited for those. We are like legit in Japan. We’re like legit in Japan. We’re not just walking through the Epcot. I feel like I I feel All right, we just arrived at our first Japanese restaurant. I don’t know. what to do. Are they going to bring us something? How are you? Good. I’m just tired. This is the best room ever. I’m trying to keep composed and contain my excitement. Mhm. All right. So, we ate our meal. We’re now heading back. Now heading back to the house. Whole meal for the family of six with tip because there is no tip is $35. So happy with that. That concludes our big day of travel. See you guys on the flip side. Good morning. It’s day two, our first full day in Japan and we’re going to 7Eleven and then Kids Zania, a place where we get to like be different jobs and things. And so maybe it’s like the once big One, two, three. There’s oniiri, which I’m opening. And apparently, this is hard to open. So, I’m going to try to do it right the first time. I didn’t get any other, but you got rice and seaweed. I saw that. I like it. Try that in there. So, mommy, do you want to explain how the smoothie machine works? So, you pay first, which we forgot to do. I might have stolen a bunch of smoothies. I’m not sure. I know. But we’ll go back tomorrow. We’ll keep buying more. You’re supposed to pay first for um a container of fruit and then after you pay, you take your container of fruit up to a machine and you put it in the machine. You scan it, you put it in the machine, and then you pull it out and it’s a smoothie that’s been made from all the fruit, frozen fruit that was in the cup. We’re going to eat this here and then we’re going to go I just always feel like we’re in the way of everything. Too many people are not knowing what was going on. We need to like I think from now on I’ll leave you guys outside of places. I’ll go in and figure it out and then we’ll all go in together. We’re like holding up the whole 7-Eleven. There was a line that I got to figure out where we’re going. All right, we made it to the shopping mall that holds KZania. Yeah. I didn’t even know it was in a shopping mall. Me neither. But it’s nice. We just found and it’s cold in here. It’s very hot outside. It’s hotter than New York. Hotter and more humid. I found the loudest place in Tokyo. It’s definitely right here. So, something interesting I have noticed is that the only people that are making noises are kids. And typically, it’s when they’re happy or laughing. And so it just makes sense that at Kadzania it’s loud. Yeah. So everything in Japan is systems systems systems. Like just here at Kazania, look at the system you have to figure out. Everything has these times and ages and then they have these cards. Everything like it’s like they teach you from a young age systems. awkward part as a traveler is trying to figure out these systems that everybody else knows and it’s so clear when you don’t know them. You stick out like a sore thumb. Never mind that we don’t look like anybody else here. So, just a very interesting experience. So, tell me girls, you guys were flight attendants. Tell me about it. I was the one who got to speak on the on the radio thing and I I got to say like when we like departed and then when we got there and I also got to demonstrate the life vest thing. That’s cool. What did you get to do Summer? So I got the cleanup fun so I got to ask like can I take your plate and stuff? That’s cool. Awesome. Yeah. Now the boys are getting to be policemen at the police station. Policemen. Multiple. This is perfect. Policemen at the police station. So, uh, I had to find a fingerprint and you had to find a fingerprint. Yeah. I there’s this tape and you put it and it’s stuck onto something and then you put it where a fingerprint is and then it just then you can actually see the fingerprint. Wow, that’s so cool. I know, but I’m embarrassed. What did you guys just do? So, we made um like clay clothes and we creped it for the white wheels like we did the wheels. Yeah. Made the car. Yeah. So cool. This is the soap factory they are working in. Is your pass, James? Yeah. Let me see. Open the camera. Look at you, buddy. So, we just completed our first shift at Kidsania. Our kids want to work a second shift. The kids wanted to work overtime cuz they heard there’s no tax on overtime now because of the big beautiful bill. So, they want to put in overtime, but we were very confused on what line there’s, look at, look at this line. There’s all that line. Can you see that? I don’t know if you can see it, but there’s lines for days, people. So, we’re standing in the line. Someone comes to check to make sure we’re in the right line, and she’s asking for a pass, but we don’t understand her. She doesn’t understand us. It’s mass confusion. Mass confusion. Apparently, we’re not checked in properly. I don’t know. Something else. We have to check him for the now. We’re cutting more people in line. I’m not sure. Where’s your skull? Right here. So embarrassing to cut. [Music] [Music] Big deal. Uh, go. Just go. I just don’t understand. I don’t understand. I don’t get it. So, you don’t speak the language. I know, but what are we doing? Okay, here we are. We’re going into Kidsania again. Here we go. [Music] [Applause] We’re laughing about the names here cuz they can’t get the names right. So, Anna Lynn. So, Anna Anna Ren. No. So it’s like a Asian first name with a American last name. Luke is shower. Ruku Coner. So much fun. Okay, kids are now going to make ice cream. Hopefully, [Applause] [Music] we got ice cream. You can go. Eat it. Yeah, go ahead. So, we’re cooked. So, we’re getting out of here early. Unless something more exciting happens, consider that a night. We’ll see you guys. We’re going on a tour of Tokyo today. Hello. Hi. How are you? Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you, Brad. Thank you. Okay, so let’s go walk to the station and get on the train. [Music] So, he said we just arrived at Tida Street. Yeah, it’s famous with youngsters, so we fit right in. There you are. [Applause] Do you know that capsule? It’s all just a bunch of vending machines capsules hard. There you go. Good job. I like this. This is a rack. Give me that. Definitely feels way more touristy here. Seeing a lot of tourists. Now we’re walking to the uh sushi train. You ready for a sushi conveyor belt? It’s a conveyor belt of all your favorite foods. Just never stops. Just keeps coming. He said there’s other stuff on the sushi. Sushi train. On the sushi train. Besides sushi. Besides the train. Okay. Oh my goodness. This is definitely a roll. It’s a roll. I’m scared. I’ve never had raw fish before. It’s very good. Really? You’re going to like How we doing over here? You guys eating the American version of the sushi train? We’re doing it like like kind of the um what would you say? The the sushi light. Sushi light. Yeah, we could say the sushi light. Okay, we just completed the sushi train. That was wonderful. Just loving the price of food around here. And now I guess we’re going to a place called Team Lab. So, you have to catch these dinosaurs on your phone. Did you catch one? Yes. Grannosaurus. Oh, cool. Good job. And then release him. The animal trying to catch an animal. Come. Let me show you. [Music] We’re going to rainbow cakes. Fluffy pancakes. So, what did you guys get? What is this called? Hawaiian ice. Rainbow Hawaiian Ice. How is it? That’s right. Is that coffee? Yeah. Okay. We’re about to go into some type of Pokemon store. This is cool. Okay, we are loaded up on Pokemon Shabuya Crossing coming up next. Okay, I think we’re here at Shabuya Crossing. Look at this. This is nuts. All right, we are now waiting on an elevator to go to Pepper Parlor, which is a robot cafe, right? What do you think, Summer? Cool. But they’re Japanese robots. There will be English. Do you think they speak English, too? Do you think they taught them English? Our prize came on that robot up there. Okay. Say goodbye to him. [Music] Okay, we’re done with the robot cafe and we’re wrapping up. Rio’s time is about done. Our tour guide, he wraps up at 4:00. Yeah. Okay. Well, we made it back to the uh room by the time. So, anyways, we’re going to go get ramen at the place we did the first night. And then we’re going to hit the Hey, see you. Last night we got our first rain. Got to experience that with umbrellas. Scary. And the best part of last night was a little music that played over loudspeakers. sounded like. And then death. After that, they played like a tornado siren, [Applause] but it was all in Japanese, so we couldn’t understand what they were trying to tell us. It was like someone speaking over a PA, and they were like, You’re going to die now. We’re just like, “Oh my gosh.” But anyways, we’re getting into 7-Eleven here, so got to go. Next station 11. Dude, they’re beautiful. This is what was in my wedding bouquet. It’s a trash can. There’s a trash can. I found a trash can. I found a trash can. Okay, here we go. Going to unload the bottom of the stroller. Uh, let’s see. Cans and paper. I think this got a 50-50 shot on that. So, we’re walking to the zoo right now. Hey, we made it to the zoo. Very pretty. It’s perfect day for the zoo. Although it’s cloudy, it’s just very nice temperature. Well, these are the lotus flowers. Lotus flowers. They bloom in the right like in the lily pads. But look how big they are. They’re beautiful. And they only they bloom right now in July. Are you excited? I’m so excited. We’re about to see the giant pandas. My favorite animal since I was like 5 years old. [Applause] It’s right there. It’s right there. Look, here’s all the evidence you need that the seafood in Japan is just fresher. Look at the color of these flamingos. One has an egg. One has an egg. An egg. Do you see? Yeah. Do you see the one on the nest? The two on the nest right there. She just laid on it. She just sat on it. That is the coolest thing ever. But we’re here at the cafe at the zoo. And condiments are things are rationed out. So we each got one ketchup. Both parmesan cheeses. And then I went back to go get more for Brad. And they said only one. Only one. And then they gave us one ketchup per of these. The whole thing. And they give us one little ketchup. So I came over and asked for more ketchup. She asked, “How many do you want?” And I said, “Seven.” She goes, “Seven.” Oh, okay. [Music] Mom just said, “If I knew where the elephant was, I’d take you to it.” And we’re literally We are literally standing right here. It’s very confusing this map. It’s like everything’s in Japanese or something. So, it’s another language, I guess. Okay. Where are we headed to next, Mommy? Um, a baseball shop for our brother-in-laws and brother. Awesome. We’re here at Tokyo Dome. This is crazy. This is nuts. I don’t know what all these people are doing here, but there’s some type of boy band concert here tonight. All these these the guys. Mom wants to get a picture with one of them. I have to do it. Okay. This is so great. How are they? Where’s yours, Luke? It’s in my stomach. James goes, “Are you allowed to fart like at places?” And I go, “No. Did you fart?” He goes, “Yeah.” So, we’re walking to where we’re going to do calligraphy right now. We’ll see what we make. So, first the first letter we are practicing is tree. Okay. Treat. You’re writing treat. Okay. Tell me about it. We just wrapped up our calligraphy class. Now we’re going to walk some more. I was hoping to get a taxi, but can’t seem to find one. That was really neat. Why don’t you guys tell about it? I I got to I made two things. cuz I made a panda that’s saying and then a panda that’s saying panda and it says panda in kanji and it said well in China it’s called a bearcat a pandas and so I wrote bearcat and kanji and I did faith hope love and peace um and kanji on one piece of paper so I’m going to put it in our house okay going to try to get on the subway and get dinner and get home so we’re here at McDonald’s in Japan and there’s different items. I got a garlic a garlic onion burger. It’s good. I got a by double cheeseburger which is a four stack. And this is the filt of fish, but it’s not fish, it’s shrimp inside shrimp in there. This is great. I got to say the filt of fish shrimp is shockingly good. So, that concludes our night. We’re going to head back to the hotel or Airbnb, whatever it is, after this and then we’ll hit the hay. So, see you. Good morning. It’s another day here in Tokyo and today we are doing what? Mommy, why don’t you tell them? Okay. We’re going to I don’t know how to say it right. Senu G. Sensoji to see the oldest temple in Tokyo that was built in 6 45. And then we have a ninja experience today. And then we have Tokyo Skytree which is the tall tallest building in Tokyo. And then we will come back and have some rest time before we have music lessons tonight with Oki. with Oki and his wife who teaches the um it’s a special instrument, Japanese instrument that we’re going to learn how to play. So, it should be a special fun day of things. Oh my goodness. He’s so cute. He’s so cute. I feel bad to eat him. I don’t want to eat him. It’s good. The texture look great. You got to eat them. I love it. We’re not wasting. It’s super rude to eat and walk. So, you can’t walk away. It’s rude. And it’s rude to me. So, guess who’s eating a bunch of jiggly cats? What are you doing, Dad? You can’t get stuff on the floor either. Hey, we’re coming up to the temple. How evil gods are. Boys and I are just climbing up to the temple to see if it’s worth bringing everybody up here. [Music] They’re all praying to that bending praying to a shrine. Okay. What’s funny is demonic as I know Islam is, there’s something that feels especially demonic about this, right? It’s weird. Gives me the heebiejibbies. Sad. It made it to our ninja spot. Not going to lie, it’s a little creepy. Oh, don’t stand in the door. Watch out. [Music] Do you need help? I can help you. And it goes to Okay. Okay. Okay. Nice. Nice. Okay. Nice. Okay. Look at that. Good job. Right in the middle. Okay, Mommy. It’s going to be hard to beat that one. Okay, let’s see. Mommy got bullseye. Wow. Nice job. Yes, sir. Careful. People behind you. Now we are heading to Tokyo Skytree. Yeah. No, just kidding. by herself on. She wants to get a geisha costume or something. I don’t even know. It’s called a kimono. Kimono. And it’s a traditional dress thing. Mommy got her Kyoto. Kimono. A kimono. Komodo dragon. Looks good. So cute. Now on to Tokyo Sky Tree. We’ve been waiting here for hour. You go now. All right. We made it to the Tokyo Skytree and we’re waiting in line for the elevator. We’re getting in the elevator. Tallest building that we’ve ever been in. [Music] The elevator ride was insane. So fast. Me, too. Are you scared of You’re scared of heights, though? So, how are you feeling? Oh, fine. I don’t care. like can’t see I can see the driving. They’re like all ants. So, now we’re heading back to the Airbnb and we’re going to get some training on how to play a Japanese instrument. All right, let’s talk about some positive things about Japan. No matter where you are, there is always a bathroom. And so speaking of bathrooms, um, yeah, let’s talk about some of the other nice things. They got toilet seat cleaners in all the bathrooms. Okay. And all these total toilets here. So you got full function of bedet. There’s a privacy mode that plays music and sounds to keep it so that no one can hear you farting. And yeah, push to flush on the wall. It’s very nice. Got this apparatus. So, while you’re pooping, you can put your child there. They think of everything the Japanese. Just to show something else to be in the middle of like a huge city, Tokyo. This a big city. And look, I don’t see a camera that’s easily accessible. Okay. And there’s no concern of anybody stealing anything. I mean, it’s like it’s like extreme. [Music] 8. [Music] Everybody’s on camera. Thank you so much. Today we are going to this Japanese church. We’re walking to it now. That’s it. Catch you on the flip side. Loved it. Thought it was great. What did you think, Dad? It was really cool. Like the whole thing. Very Japanese. I loved it. Sitting on the floor worshiping Jesus. Well, that was great. What are we heading to now, Mommy? Sushi. Conveyor belt. some Rabbel sushi. Okay. I’m horrible at trucking. I don’t know how to use Just use your fingers. It’s fine. You’re supposed to. So, this place is kind of cool. You get the idea already from the last time. But what I didn’t explain is each one of these plates is only a dollar. They’re 150 yen. $1. At Namba for Nigeri, just like this, it’s anywhere from 12 to $18 for the same sushi. Literally 12 times the price. Okay, we found the coolest place. All these pens and everything. It’s like a stationary place. But while we’re here, Luke Luke comes up to me and he’s like, “Dad, Dad, I have a nose bleed. It’s not bad.” No, it’s cuz the air but and I’m like, “What?” And he’s like, “It’s cuz the air. The air.” And I’m like, “Okay.” Okay. And then all of a sudden he’s like he’s just dripping everywhere. Look at all this. Look at all this blood. Okay. Okay. We need to wipe up over here. He spilled some more on this kid’s foot. Okay. Good job. Good thing mom bleeding everywhere. So I run. I shouldn’t walk away. No. Don’t. Making memories. Making memories. Good morning. We’re just waking up and the girls got back from the bakery again. What happened? [Music] More bakery stuff. We love this bakery. I love walking to a bakery. Mhm. It’s the best. This is a chocolate croissant and it’s so good. The whole bakery, they get half of a thing. They get one thing and they’re like, “That’s enough.” And I’m like, “Okay. We got 25 items. They’re not feeding six people. Okay, so we’ve had just a super chill morning. We got 3 days of this tropical storm coming through. We thought we’d rest a little bit. But I want to show you some interesting things particularly about this space. This, if I could take one thing back from Japan, this would be the thing. So this is a washer and a dryer combo unit. It does both. I would love just two of these machines. Problem solved. All right, we are back at Takashita Station. It’s Takashita Street. Takashita Street. So excited. This place is huge. I’m getting your sister some Care Bear stuff. Care Bear stuff? So cute. Or I don’t know if it’s We got like 4,000 capsules. Yeah. Way too many capsules. We could have a capsule store. Capsule store in America. Oh, Dad. Wow, that looks good, Dad. Are we going to get anything? Are they good? This would have been cheesy. Don’t drop it. Okay, that was that was a fail. Just Just hold it. It’s called a 10 yen bread. What is it? 10 yen bread. But and that’s a cheesy hot dog. It’s like fair food or something. Frozen. Okay. Okay, I just got the um sugar candy sugarcoated fruit. Wow. Absolutely delicious. Absolutely delicious. The kids just went upstairs to get cotton candy or something like that. Oh my goodness. Look at she’s making Wow, it’s so good. Got the Oh my goodness. Okay. So, pretty littles and me are going to spend time with otterters. Smells super good in here. You like the smell? No. I don’t like it, but it’s the smell of Piper, so I kind of It’s stronger, but it’s still I’m going [Music] I have to always be separated. [Music] What did you guys think? It was awesome. It was awesome cuz I cuz when I was getting the water out, all of them wanted water. So, they like sitting on my feet. It was so cute. I got one sleeping on me for like the whole time. So, we’re here at the ramen restaurant we’ve been eating at, and we realized that this one dish comes with real wasabi, which we don’t ever get in America. It’s like actually real. I tasted it and it was so spicy. I’m still I still need water. It still burns. After this, we’re heading home and then we’re going to go to bed and it will be night time here. So, we’ll see you tomorrow. Hey, daddy. Good morning. We’re here doing our what has become a routine. Kids are in their room watching Peppa Pig and me and mommy take our bakery goods. We go out here. Oh, it’s windy. Tropical storm. Typically come out here and we read our Bible. I love it up here. I’m going to miss it so much. Have our little devotion time. We’re going to be heading to the uh art aquarium, which I have no idea what that means. I guess it’s like goldfish in the shape of art or something. I’m a little lost and we’re very late. We were supposed to be there at 11:30 is our time and it’s 11:55 here. There’s an elevator right there. Elevator just took us out to the street. So, I have no clue where we’re going. I’m hoping they let us in personal. Someone’s coming. Okay, we can’t take video in here, but we made it. They let us in. And you can take video. I was wrong. We finished the art aquarium. Luke, what did you think? It was cool. But so there was mirrors like along the walls and there was a bunch of fish tanks on like stands. So it looked like it was there was a bunch more like a longer hallway that you could go through. So I ran like I walked into the mirror cuz I thought it was a longer hallway. So I ran into the mirror and that really hurt. But there was overflowing tanks in all of it, like infinity tanks. So at the top it looked like glass. There’s a big bowl that’s full with like light up stuff and it poofs out. What came out of the fish tank? Some soap. What was it? Say it again. Soap. Smoke. Yes. Yes. There was smoke that was coming out of the fish tanks and it was like yellow and purple. So, there were these fish was like this big of eyes popping out of their head and it was so weird. I like the flower rooms the best. Look at this picture I got of Ly looking at the flower room. You see it? Wow, that is beautiful. Excuse me. Sorry. And no shoes, please. Oh, say Summer. You have just put your feet down. You told me that. Summer, you’re getting us in trouble. Thank you so much. Wonderful. This is my first taste of wagon. What do you think, Mommy? I can’t describe, babe. It’s so good. Very good. So, we found out what the fire trucks and the ambulance sound like. They’re very loud just like we know in America, but they have more talking on them, too. Oh boy. I hear them talking. I see these hand sanitizers. And I keep pushing on this, but I just realized that’s a foot, so you don’t have to touch it. It’s genius. So, you put your That’s the best thing ever. So, we’re now waiting to board the subway for the largest electronic store in the world. It’s nine stories of electronics. Think we made it. Nine floors. World’s largest electronic store. It just goes on for for days and days. Mommy found her many camera she wants. They have drones. Pro. This is not available in the United States, boys. Look at all these home troopers. It’s crazy. Look at these yo-yos. All right, check out this computer case. This is the coolest thing. There’s two really cool computer cases. That is sick. So cool. Okay, then they got this one over here. It’s a sneaker X. So cool. Good morning. It’s another morning here in Japan, Tokyo. Got to be quick, but we’re on our way right now to meet Rio G for a tour of some other areas here in Tokyo. I made this for her. Yay. So, this is the outside of that electronic store we were at yesterday. Place is massive. Coolest thing in the world. Found Rio. You made him sushi, too. Yeah. Nigiri. Oh, Nigiri. So cute. Thank you. Look at the size of these water cups coming. [Music] Dad, there’s Kirby. Kirby’s paw games. These are all the retro arcade games. Dad, this is so You want to play? Yes. There you go. All right, we are going to grab some lunch at the game place. So, the idea is is that they serve it to you rare like this and then you cook it to the temperature of your liking here in front of you. [Music] Mine’s sleeping. I don’t want to wake him up. Oh my goodness. Is he sleeping? Have your dog on there. Just a minute and then I’ll I’ll help you. Go on the wheel. Do you like him? Summer. Yeah. I love it. A little bit scared. Hello. Oops. Scary. Currently on our way to Tokyo Tower. That’s Mount Fuji Ridge. Oh, I do see that ridge. This I want to eat some. Oh my goodness, you guys. It’s the grassy weights. Okay, made it to our restaurant. Took a taxi ride. He was a little bit of an aggressive driver. So, Luke is sick. Order here from our phone. Seems like a common thing here. I love being in an Italian restaurant and still getting chopsticks. Okay, so what’s our review? The best carbonara I’ve ever had. Up at the top. We’re going to head home, get some sleep, and then tomorrow it’s Disney. Say, you want to come inside my Tokyo clubhouse? All right. Now we’re going to Disney. Are you excited, James? So, we’re going to Disneyland Tokyo today. Very excited. They made it look like Disney coming in with all the palm trees. They really like the palm trees. Makes you feel like you’re in Florida. Look at that, guys. It’s a trash can right in the middle of nothing. And there’s no markings on it. No sorting. We really are in the promised land. I cannot believe we’re at Tokyo. So pretty. They have the shading things on top. Pretty nice. It’s nice. Yeah. This is not how our Disney is anymore cuz it’s so jam-packed at Disney World. Oh, this is the coolest. Look at all the people. And we’re going to Beauty and Beast ride first. her mom. Perfect. So cute. Okay. Did you guys listen? Cuz if you don’t listen, you don’t understand the ride. Okay. It was It was all in Japanese. We didn’t understand a word. I wasn’t expecting at all to be in Japanese. I don’t know what I was thinking. [Music] It’s not not appropriate. Sit down. There you go. So good. Really? So, I just found out the biggest tragedy of all. Alicia just told me that this ride that I was most excited to ride is closed for the next month. [Music] Really wanted to hear It’s a Small World in Japanese. Dang it. We’re about to get on Big Thunder Mountain, but I can’t film. Get a picture of the train coming. Okay, we just got off Thunder Mountain and then we walked into the restaurant that’s like connected to it and it only sells curry. So, we all got curry and the kids are excited. They’re fine with it. Just was kind of funny because we thought we would get like a hot dog or a burger or like a chicken leg and it’s every curry. Chicken curry, pork curry, meat curry. Oh, here they are. Oh, there’s the curries. Oh, it looks good. Looks great. It’s a lot less busy here. It’s like precoid Disney World in February or September when everybody’s gone back to school. because Anna James, what beautiful names you all have? Would you like to hold my hand? Oh, this is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Okay. One, two, three. You just meet people out in the streets. They don’t do that. No, it’s fine. It’s harder to find. It’s harder to find that at home. The parade is about to start in like 5 minutes and we just walked up. This lady that works here made people move over and put our kids right in the front. But at home you have to like we’d be back here watching an hour before. [Music] This popcorn is warm and it’s so good. It’s salted caramel. And look at this campaign. It’s Tokyo Disney Resort. It’s a map. We’re on the Snow White ride. The ending, the happiest Snow White. Like the whole time there was no Snow White or the prince over here. Every time that lady would laugh, he goes he goes back at her. And I’m like, “Luke, stop.” because he did it so loud right in my ear and it was so creepy. Okay, there was the witch like 15 times. The witch, but there was no Snow White. The witch. The witch’s ride. Well, it just us the teacup ride. We’re pulling some cheese. It’s starting school years. I’m so excited. [Music] [Applause] How did you guys like the electric? It was so great. She said it was the best parade. Yeah, it was the best parade ever. So nostalgic. That was fun. And I felt like the whole day, the whole park is nostalgic Disney, including the electrical parade. We’ll see you tomorrow for Disney Sea. Yeah. Good morning. It’s Disney C day. Look guys. Hey guys, look. It’s Disney. See? Yeah. This is a vibe. It looks like an old city. It seems like islands have adventuring. Yeah. Well, did it come out? Oh, it’s a Mickey. I thought we would drop. I thought we would drop. No drops. This area is really nice cuz it’s all inside. Good break from the heat. We’re waiting in line for a ride, but we’re trying to see what there is to eat. What’s the menu, Annaline? So, um, I’ll just It’s like kind of Italian food. It’s Italian seafood. You got seafood cowzone. You got sausage and meat sauce pizza, which sounds like fine. Tortilla. I mean, okay. It looks all fine and dandy on the menu, but then you go over and like you got this stuff like this says spicy cod row and potato pizza. You got a seafood cowzone, which I guess I would try. So cod row like cod row like cod egg eating so much popcorn. Yeah. Hands up people. Are you ready, buddy? Woo. Even though she spoke Japanese [Music] [Music] going on journey to the center of the Hold on. Oh, that’s crazy. What’ you think, buddy? I was trying to do but I couldn’t. So, I have to break through. So every day around this time of the day, we start to get blessed with some special smells. The smell of lack of deodorant. We don’t think that they use deodorant here. They just use a bunch of body sprays. I see girls like just spraying their whole bodies. I don’t think the spray works. But you smell it here. [Music] We went under the waterfall thing. Okay, I think we’re going to hight tail out of here. We were looking for some food, but cold shrimp seafood pasta didn’t sound great. And okay, now another day is completed. Oh yeah. If you’re anything See you guys on the flip side. Tomorrow. Tomorrow are going to a tea ceremony. I’m so excited. A traditional Japanese tea ceremony. I here at our house. Okay. MK Tokyo stay. We’re going to make traditional Japanese desserts and have a tea ceremony. Okay, bye. So cute. Thank you. This looks like a melting chocolate 250 years ago. 250 years ago. It’s very and glory. Wow. Wow. Go ahead, James. The elevators are really big here. Let’s put in the plates. I think we got enough sushi. We won. Yeah, we won. It’s going to give us the ball. Yay. We made it to the Pokémon Mega Store. So, now we’re going to go see if we can find some sweets and then head back to the house and mommy should be there, too. Did you guys have fun? Yeah, it was so much fun. It was It was so nice. It was awesome. We got so many Jacob cups and tables and matcha and Look up there, Dad. Show that. That’s the name. Did you show show the menu? We got a bunch of wagues translate any of these that had the English didn’t have the English here. And this is where you order. So then you look at this menu and you find premium Japanese beef lo. But then you can’t find that English on the iPad. I’m really hoping it’s good. You could choose Japanese or Chinese or Chinese language. Chinese. Japanese. Dirty knees. Look at these. That’s all I know. It’s going to be beautiful. Yeah. I want that lace. Daddy, can I have that? Don’t put this. [Music] It’s like heaven in your mouth. Can’t believe we’re in Japan. I can’t believe we’re in Japan. We’re going on a bullet train today. Yes. To That should be fun. Odawara. Yeah, we changed our minds on Odowa. I don’t know. Oda Oda something. So small speech city which I’m excited about. We’re getting bento boxes. Come on. Looks like you want me to find out? Yes, please. Cuz I really want it if it’s any kind kind of steak. Yeah. What’s it say? It’s beef. Okay. Japanese beef. Is that what you want? Yeah. Number eight. We started moving. Right on time. 12:27. My gosh, that was so stressful in that Tokyo station. Oh my gosh, that scared me. I’m going to want that in the video. It should have been five and five. What do you think about it? It almost gave me a headache cuz it was so fast. You know, when they came by, I couldn’t look too fast. But it was really cool. Look, Luke, we only have to go all the way up there. Should be easy. We got this. Okay, guys. The castle. It looks a little bit like the Osaka one. Yeah. Doesn’t it? Yeah. Oh, it is. Thank you. I got the Okay, we got a much needed cool down. Some sweet treats. And now we’re heading down from the castle to wherever mommy has next for us. You’ve never seen it before? No, we’ve never seen it before. Oh, wow. That’d be so bad. Look at the tunnel leads right to the beach. So pretty. We found a little waterfall. Me and the kids. No, we are trying to figure out how to get past it. Like over there, No. I have a good idea. We’re not really sure. We just go here and then we sit on our mom can’t even see us. Look at that. Now we can go. Okay, so here we are back to mother and papa. But we have this rugged terrain we got to walk over before we can get to them. So, here’s my vlog of walking over the rugged terrain. Ready? Let’s go. We got to do this fast. You got to run. Ready? Go. Made it. Good job. Did you have fun? Yeah. We all got the Mandarin orange special shaved ice, vanilla ice cream, and little mandarin oranges. Very good. We were kicked out of the shop to go only. To go only. So, we had to go out to eat it, but don’t eat it on the street cuz that’s not allowed. But don’t eat it in the shop cuz that’s not allowed. But stand. But don’t but do it. But don’t. So many rules. You know, you’re allowed to eat it on the street if the street leads from into the beach from a tunnel to a tunnel. And that’s what this does. All I know is I’m proud to be an American or at least I know I’m free. It was The beach was great. Loved the beach. I really wanted to visit a beach in Japan and we did. And the kids wanted a bullet train with daddy so we got that too. So that was great. And okay, goodbye. I have been looking for a trash can since the beach. That was about 45 minutes ago. I found one. Absolutely ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Give us some trash cans. Okay, go ahead and get out, please. We’re back at our ramen spa. No, it’s our last time eating here. We start here and we finish here. Thank you. So, unless something else exciting happens tonight. That’ll be the end of the video. Uh, tomorrow is our last day. We’re packing and enjoying some last minute food. We’ll see you on the flip side. It’s our final day and I didn’t record anything today, but I just wanted to say goodbye. Wow, my hair is crazy. Let me put my hat on. Oh, I do that all the time. Hit my head on the door. It’s appropriate for the final video here. Ouch. It’s our final day here in Japan and I didn’t record anything today, but I just wanted to All we did is pack and get ready and eat food, but I just wanted to make a quick memory of how nice they were at the duck my head at the restaurant tonight. They gave us dessert that we didn’t pay for is at the Wagu restaurant. Just so nice. They were so friendly. And I asked if they sold the chopsticks cuz they have these really nice metal chopsticks. And they said, “No, we don’t sell the chopsticks.” They said, “But we can give you some. Would you like some?” And they gave me three pairs. So sweet. So, that should conclude everything for this video here of Japan. It’s been a wonderful time. We are thankful that we got the time that we had here, and we look forward to our next trip.
