TATE experience in Ami Ibaraki | 殺陣体験
Hello, this is Masaku Juka from Ibaraki in Japan. Do you know about Japanese sword fighting? Sword fighting is called Tate in Japanese. It’s a fighting scene in theaters, movies, and TV dramas where many actors are involved in fighting. Tate can be performed in a variety of ways from barehanded fightings to using big weapons. Our guest house Iuku actually offers number of Japanese cultural experiences to the foreign guests. Today I’d like to introduce you to one of these tert experience. Let’s go. This is the entrance in Maku Iuku. Uh and next door is a dojo for sword fighting and dance. A dojo means like a training room. This room holds the props uh kimonos and other equipment used for sword fighting and dance. Next to that is the dojo which looks like this. There are 600 abacas on the wall which I used for my other business abacus teaching in this room. The sword fighting teacher will teach you everything from basic movements to short fight scenes. The other day my friend and abacus teacher and her mother came to our EQU to experience sword fighting t. Please enjoy the practice scene. stick.
