Tokyo’s 3 Best Buffets -1 Ginza Happo #travel #digitalnomad #japantravel #japan #japanfood
I am the cyber Irishman and here’s my review of the top three most popular buffets in Tokyo. We’ll start off with the Ginsa Hapo Seafood Buffet which has two locations in Tokyo. One in Ginsa and the other in Shinjuku which is the one I visited. This buffet is a seafood paradise with a massive selection of fish, clams, scallops, welks, oysters, and crab. You can both cook from raw at your table and also there’s many pre-prepared cooked dishes. Every table has a grill where you can cook the raw seafood and the meats to your liking. There’s a massive selection of pre-prepared seafood such as pre-cooked crab legs and fried seafood like tempora shrimp and a massive sushi counter, all of which was delicious. If fresh is what you want, fresh is what you’ll get. As there are tanks full of live crustaceations for you to grab and cook. There is a wall full of meats with many varieties and cuts of wagu steak and even horse meat if that’s your thing. The salad bar was also very decent with a good selection of fresh ingredients. Now, the pre-prepared dishes were all excellent. The big disappointment, I’m afraid to say, was the dessert selection. It was honestly terribly underwhelming for the price of the buffet. You get two hours, so for goodness sake, pace yourself. It also has an all you can drink option and the selection of sake looked fantastic.
