  1. If it’s so hot maybe you should find a dining establishment with air conditioning or cooler interior anyway. 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️

  2. 🇮🇪☘️🇺🇸 This is such a timely posting. I’m so grateful for you share the breathtaking beauty. I SO love ur vids, ur gentle perfectly tinged with a bit of salty sarcasm humor😎. To think today 1year later those isles are being quake swarmed with islanders evacuating., with the Manga prophecy looking pretty good. I pray not . I send prayers and blessings and many thanks 🙏🏼🌹

  3. Thank you Kuga, what an amazing island, that beach was beautiful, but that heat must have been crazy.

  4. First time watching you and you seem like a nice guy. Unfortunately I don’t know why you eat the green turtle stew. I don’t care if it’s “legal” there. They are endangered as you said. I love things about Japan and the Japanese but you do commercial whaling and eat dolphins. Let’s do better.

  5. I know it is very important in Japan to blur the faces of other people, but does that also apply to some buildings? Thinking of the blurred out JMSDF base.

  6. Interesting thing about these islands. This is where an international oceanography team video taped a giant squid. Amazing. Looked like shimmering gold.

  7. What a great trip. Finally you take this trip into Tokyo Outer Island. Yeah, since ithe route passing open sea, the sea can be rough. These islands have 180° different vibes than Tokyo Area, more tropical and less crowded.

  8. Thank you for another fun video, Kuga-san! It would have been interesting to see your room on the island, and how you rode out the typhoon. I like stormy weather, but I guess that's a weird Floridian thing. XD

  9. Please, don't eat shark meat!!! I know, japanese people are not interested in any kind of animal welfare if it's food, but fishers kill sharks in a cruel way. So, please don't. 😢Thank you. P.S: The poem was very beautiful.

  10. I had to stop the video, after you eating an endangered animal happily. First shark, now the turtle. Sad, but I have to switch to another japanese traveler.

  11. My wife likes circle Japan cruises because she can visit places she wouldn't normally travel in Japan. Repositioning from Japan to Vancouver/Seattle via Alaska is a good one also.

  12. You needed to be dressed for the climate. All black and shoes and socks on a sunny beach are not the best choices.

  13. Absolutely beautiful video. At least you got the Hahajima Maru instead of her sister ship, the Kobayashi Maru 😉

  14. A FASCINATING and very educational trip. American-me, never heard of the "Osagawa Islands" — except for Iwo Jima, from our mutually sad history there during World War II. Thank you Kuga-San!!!

  15. Is there a reason why no one is swimming at the beach? On a hot day it’s the perfect way to cool down and the water looked great! At least take your shoes off, roll up the pants and go for a wade.

Also beautiful poem and what a wonderful send off from the locals 😊

Are there nice hotels? I was curious to see where you stayed.

  16. I enjoy your videos…up until you eat protected animals. Traditional or not…really disappointing.
