🇯🇵 Trying traditional Japanese mochi #shorts #japan #kyoto #japantravel #japanesefood #mochi

i just saw that sweet lady just making her mochi
and I just thought “Oh we got to get some.” It’s got like some thick almost looks like caramel
sauce on it slightly savory slightly sweet i can’t put my finger on what flavor it’s meant
to be very unique i don’t think I’ve ever eaten a flavor similar to this it’s weird because
it says Japanese traditional sweets but it is almost more savory than sweet isn’t it yeah
it’s really strange i feel like I’m eating a savory thing not a sweet thing yeah it’s odd
but there’s something a bit moreish about it

Kyoto continued to surprise us as we explored further on our second day, disappear with us and find out why you should visit!

Much love,

Jacob and Emma

  1. Mitarashi Dango. Its sweet soy sauce. There are many sweets in Japan that just ain't as sweet as in many other countries. Mhhh❤
