The magnificent Mt. Daisen, the highest peak in the Chugoku Mountain Range, has superb #trekking courses such as this path toward the sky. Said to be Japan’s oldest center of mountain worship, Mt. Daisen’s rich natural environment is amazingly well preserved with respect. In 2018, Daisen-ji Temple at the western foot is celebrating its 1300th anniversary.
