We tried one of these trains in Japan last year. The decoration was not as elegant as this one but still very good. The journey was themed around a special menu put together by three top Japanese chefs. The food was wonderful and the whole experience is one well worth doing if you have the chance.

I love the train videos from Japan, being from a another country, this was my first themed train. Other train rides I’ve watched are more themed for luxurious. Thank you. You've done it again! The train looks wonderful from the outside, and the special meal looked fantastic. Now I don't know which train trip to try. Maybe you could do a 5 minute video rating the themed train trips that you take. I can think of three off the top of my head, but I can't remember the names.
Very beautiful train but those face to face seats would be awkward for many people. I especially loved that forward facing view, who ever thought of that feature deserves a medal.
Also, I can't help wondering how a non-Japanese speaking tourist would manage in some places in Japan. Everything on this beautiful train is in Japanese.
