You Can Make Fresh Smoothies at Japanese 7-Eleven? | Travel Japan

Come with me to Japanese 7-Eleven. We saw these on the first day we were here and they’re these little smoothie cups full of fresh fruit, fresh vegetables. All you have to do is grab them, pay, take them up to the front, and then pull off the lid, scan the barcode, and stick them into this blending machine, hit okay. Give it about, I don’t know, 30 seconds or so, and it comes back to you a perfectly blended smoothie. This was strawberry banana. My friend got the blueberry. We’ve also got the green one. They are so good for on the- go. And not only that, they’re actually super super good. If you’re in Japan, you got to try this.

Japan does convenience stores differently.
I tried the smoothie machine at a Japanese 7-Eleven and was genuinely impressed.

  1. I doubt I will ever make it to Japan just wondering when all this nifty stuff in these different countries will be here in America .
