Fairytale Villages and Stunning Countryside of Japan 🇯🇵 S8 EP 103 | Pakistan to Japan Motorcycle

Check out the beautiful view from here. Assalam Alekum everyone and welcome back to the channel from Tokyo. Today is the day when I will do a motorcycle tour of Japan. I have been waiting for a long time. I have shown you a lot of things in my previous vlogs. Especially the Tokyo area, local travel on trains. A lot of people like these kinds of vlogs. I hope you liked my attempts to show you Japan. The plan is that I will leave Tokyo today. And I will go to the south, Nagasaki and Okinawa. I am not sure how long it will take. There are a lot of interesting places on the way. I will visit them and reach there in a few weeks. As I travel in Japan, I will get an idea of how interesting Japan is for me. And how interesting it is for you as a viewer. I will plan my tour based on that. Let’s keep the first day easy. I have packed my stuff on the motorcycle. This is Arif’s motorcycle. I will tell you about it in a while. The plan is that if I cover 350 km today, I will spend the night around Shizuoka. Let’s go. I will try to show you Japan in the upcoming videos. As you know, Rangeeli is not with me in Japan. But this is Arif’s Rangeeli. It’s a Honda NC750. I will travel Japan on this motorcycle. Let’s hope it goes well. I have packed my stuff. It has my camping gear. I have my laptop and other stuff in it. I have also packed my clothes. I have put some other stuff in the bags at the sides. (prayer for journey) May I have a safe and blessed day ahead. Whenever I go on a bike tour, I feel a little anxious at first. I don’t want to forget my stuff. But anyway… The good thing about Japan is that you won’t face the same kind of problems that you would face in Central Asia, like roads, food, or if you face an issue with your motorcycle. It’s a little relaxing compared to what I have experienced earlier. But the problems I have faced here so far, have not faced anywhere in the world. This is one of them. My adventure started right before the tour. Check out this beautiful school bus. The kids will be happy to see a bus like this. They will be ready to go to school. I was thinking of buying a new motorcycle here. I will sell it after the tour. Then I consulted Arif. We saw a lot of motorcycles. But finally we decided that… I’m not sure if I’ve to travel here for 10 days, 15 days or a month. If I travel a little longer, then it’s worth it. But if I feel fed up from Japan, then it won’t be worth it. Now I will go through the highway from here. Since I have ATC, which is an automated toll system. So I don’t have to pay directly here. I will get the bill on the credit card as well. I can’t tell you how much they will charge now. But as I told you in the previous vlog, Japan’s highways are among the most expensive highways in the world. I found out by googling here that per kilometer travelled on the highway, they charge 25 Yen. Approximately 16 or 17 USD. Around 50 Pakistani Rupees. So you can imagine how expensive it is. So I have to cover the next 70 km on the highway. Otherwise, it would have taken extra 1.5 to 2 hours, if I had opted going through the city. I have covered more than 70 km through the highway. Wow! It shows 1620 Yen. That means I have paid around 12 USD. That too on the motorcycle. Here they charge less for the motorcycle and 660 cc car. They charge more for the rest. There is a discount on the ETC as well. So, despite this, I have paid 1600 Yen. I could have had a nice lunch as well. I will try to opt for the highway as less as possible. But in some places, it is compulsory to go through the highway. I have reached Gotimba. I am traveling at this speed here. Gotimba vibes like a small city. Some shops are open here and there. The reason for getting off the highway is that I want to go through the country road from here. And enjoy the scenic route and the beauty of this area. Because I saw a lot of mountains there. I hope there is a place to sit here as well. They must have made something here. Normally there is. There is a place to sit here. One of the best things about traveling in Japan is the convenience stores here. You will find them wherever you go. And you will find almost everything here. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. You will find everything here. At least, in a cheap price things are manageable. I have taken coffee from here. I have also taken a sandwich with egg and tuna. This is a chocolate bread. I paid 750 yen for this. Which is about 5 USD. I think this will be a good break for me. I was a little hungry. Let’s enjoy this. And then I will see where I will go from here. I still have a lot of time. The weather is also better. There are clouds ahead but I don’t know if it’s going to rain or not. That was fun. What an amazing road. Such beautiful trees. And you can see the road ahead. It’s going up and down. There are trees all around it like an umbrella. Very beautiful. I am just a few minutes away now. Now I can see the traces of population. There is a national park here and there is a small village next to it. I have seen a lot of big companies in this village as well. People are employed in their respective villages. Look at the beautiful flowers along the road sides. Let’s see where the motorcycles are parked. Check out the beautiful view from here. There is a big one and there are small waterfalls next to it. But there are multiple waterfalls here. There are only a few tourists here. The waterfalls are absolutely stunning. The advantage of arriving late is that there are no people here. You can spend as much time as you want here. Enjoy the beauty of this place. Let me tell you that this is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well. The waterfalls are absolutely stunning. I have spent some time here. I have booked a hotel for tonight. It’s in Shizuoka. It will take about an hour from here. I will leave after enjoying the beauty of this place. It’s 6:20 pm now. I think I will reach Shizuoka by 7:45 pm. If I leave on time. Let’s see how my next one hour ride will be. It’s taking me through such a narrow path. Let’s go if it’s taking me. It will be even more interesting. These narrow paths are really beautiful. Especially when there is no traffic. Wow! Amazing. I am passing through the fields. Such a beautiful road. There are rice crops. You won’t be able to see anyone at this time. It’s so quiet and peaceful here. I think people hibernate around 5 or 5:30 pm. Especially when there is less population. Cities are bustling with people leaving their offices. Train stations and metro stations are crowded. But you don’t see anyone in the village. This is the scenery for which I have come to Japan. When you think of Japan, you think of such roads and scenery. This kind of image comes to your mind. What a beautiful village this is. What you can see here is the graveyard. The graveyard is right next to the houses in the villages. But they are so beautiful that you don’t get scared. I have reached Shizuoka. You can see Toyoko Inn in front of me. This is my hotel. I was hoping to find a hotel like this in the city with food and parking. I have reached the wrong hotel. I have booked Toyoko Inn But it’s a little further from here. It happens. It has a lot of branches. It’s 12 km away from here. What a mess. Now I hope that I have come to the right Toyoko Inn. I am tired now. Here is their main train station. That was a small station behind. So I was mistaken. I will try and ask them where to park. It’s the same hotel. This is my small, beautiful, clean room. There is hardly any space to walk. I don’t think I can open my luggage there. I will have to keep it somewhere. The overall room is fine. But it’s very small. I think this is very common in Japan. Whenever you travel, you will realize that the rooms here are relatively small. The washroom is also very clean and beautiful. I have paid 47 USD for this room. I try to book around 4-5 pm on the day I travel. So I can explore the options. There are no vacations these days. So it is relatively easy to find a hotel. When there were vacations, it was very difficult to find a hotel. I have found a place nearby for halal dinner. Let’s go there and have dinner. So I have come to find a restaurant in the city center. You will see one thing. The cities I have been to so far, their city centers are very similar. Neon lights and the same vibes. It looks very similar. But it’s good. It’s a good experience to come here in the evening. It is very lively. If you book a place here and there, you won’t find anything to eat there. I was looking for a Japanese halal restaurant. But as soon as I saw this kebab, I decided to have kebab today. Hello. Assalamualaikum. I have an Iranian with me. He is toasting the bread. Thanks to them. I was looking for Japanese tempura. But the kebab forced me to come here. Because I will find them everywhere. I may only find these when I come to the countryside. Let’s do something different today. I think it was 800 or 900 Yen. I got it for around 6 USD. I hope you liked the vlog. I will eat this now. It is very tasty. I am drooling. So I will eat slowly. I hope you liked the vlog. Don’t forget to like, subscribe and share. Bye.
