  1. It’s a weird apartment but in a strange way I really liked it . I wouldn’t change anything apart from replacing the glass wall and door for the bathroom to have more privacy- I liked this floor plan actually

  2. This was such an interesting unit. I noticed that in the bathroom there was no rod for hanging clothes to dry (above tub). Also, I was wondering what the box on the wall was (to the left of the window underneath the stairs that opened up into the ventilation shaft). Thanks for another excellent video!

  3. Everyone hating that glass wall and door, but I love it. It allows more light into the bathroom and make the house seems bigger. I'll have an excuse to not invite anyone into the house, because I don't like people using my toilet. 🤣

  4. the one ground level apartment that doesn't bother me, but those stairs look like an accident waiting to happen. The place is rather spacious, i wouldn't consider it a micro apartment, rather a mini one, pretty good layout too.

  5. I think if they replaced the bathroom glass with frosted glass/or a film cover to allow the same light in, then it would be better for those who have visitors.

  6. do people like the exposed concretes trend? for a place this tiny and lack of natrual light it kinda reminds me of jail🥲

  7. Just found this channel! I don’t think this is a micro-apartment at all! It seems quite spacious and I really like the upstairs part. A simple curtain would solve the bathroom issue but I am more concerned about the lack of work surface in the kitchen. It does seem big enough to have a rolling island though. I loved how private and secluded it was. Greetings from Southern California!

  8. I love it. The cave-like feel is the most appealing part. I don’t like a lot of light, since I’m a night owl who sleeps in during the morning. I wish Japan had larger kitchens, but other than that, I’d live here for sure. Bring in a cat, and you’ve got a cozy home. 😂😂😂❤❤❤

  9. need frosted glass through the lower 2/3 of the bathroom, dont like that the floor is tiles, it seems like one large toilet and argh, the loft is for crawling 😢 but the outside and inside rustic industrial look is appealing but could be depressing if to live longer than airbnb

  10. Besides the standard needs for an apartment like bed, table, cook and eating ware, etc…. I would say that one could use a few rolls of tenant friendly removable wallpaper to go over most of the cement walls and ceiling.

  11. Way too industrial or prison concrete for me. And the glass for bath ? Glass blocks would let light flow , but no one wants an Audience while doing their business.

  12. The apartment has been constructed with high-quality materials. However, the ceiling height in the mezzanine is uncomfortably low, creating a claustrophobic atmosphere. The staircase also appears to be quite steep. While it may be a suitable option for a younger individual living alone, it is not appropriate for an older person.

  13. Bro, your apartment is definily bigger than so many others that I seek on youtube! I liked too much

  14. i sometimes wish they had more talking in these videos. even if its all in japanes. then remember videos like that already exist all over youtube and i feel stupid for wantng what i could have been watching. sometimes its still very nice to just see the space and not have someone narrate it

  15. Many Likes 👍…..
Beautiful high-end functional modern well planned cave living, with plenty windows for light and ventilation. The cave people could not do this, nor could they hang a ceiling fan to move air. And then step outside to the modern outdoors under the sky.
    Like!
Many don't like the glass of the bathroom. But I would enjoy the glimpses through the transparency, while cleansing. People use to bathe/cleanse themselves in the rivers. This is extremely a reminder of the long ago. If you can put a plant, visually substantial, outside where it would be in view from inside the bath… quite nice. And the toilet above is a small operable window. Good! I really like a modern shower. But in Japan a bath is still the preferred thing. A pullup blind of lightweight and natural material (like the shoji screens) installed outside the bathroom glass panel, in case you have guests using the toilet. You'll find a way to properly install it for easy operation from inside the bathroom. 🙃

I would enlarge the kitchenette to have more a full kitchen. Wish this sink were bigger, or with two basins. Then a large rectangular dining table to help food preparation and to eat on, or Mr Landlord can install an island counter. Low hanging chandeliers and/or light pendants would make this cooking and utility area very bright and cheerful, stylish but friendly. This large squarish space can support that. And a large painting/print on the cool wall, in view at almost every vantage point including inside the bath. Under the staircase is the area for work, or for chilling out… whatever your style. This small gradient but appealing space with a huge full height operable window is simply but grandly wonderful… not to be ignored!
This loft is for everything – except cooking or bathroom.

  16. There is a curtain hanger to cover the bathroom glass for privacy. Like a shower curtain. The tenant would pick one at the store.

  17. I like the unique entrance where you can go upstairs or downstairs. It seems very roomy, lots of space. I am not a fan of the bathroom. Thanks again for continuing to show the area of the neighborhood outside the apartment. ❤❤❤ it’s quite interesting to see the differences in in apartments in a country other than one’s own.

  18. This one is nice. I always prefer loft with stairs over ladders. Glass bathroom does not bother me. Seen several of these. In such a tiny place, they let light in. You can simple get frost window sheet to block the view if you have allot of guests or are a prude. LOL

  19. Please stop doing everything twice. Light switches on and off more than once, window catches, open close open close. Circular air vent in the cupboard, open close open close. We get the idea, it’s just very annoying. I love the apartments you show, very different to other programmes doing the same thing. The very best of luck. 👍👍

  20. I'd be wanting to paint all that grey concrete white. I think bare concrete looks dirty.could definitely live here comfortably but I would be putting something up to hide the view into the bathroom

  21. As I get older one thing I look at is how easy it is to move furniture into and out of a place. This looks like a nightmare.

  22. beautiful and stylish. but that glass-bathroom is a no go. Imagine you have guests! First I would do would adding blinds or a thick curtain from the inside of that bathroom
