Hey y'all, not really sure where to ask this so I thought this sub might be my best bet since theres probably a majority of you in here with them.

I have a new to me RHD coming from Japan with an aftermarket wheel on it. I'm wanting to change that wheel to a flat bottom to have a little more room for my legs. The only issue I see is that the 6 holes are top to bottom on every aftermarket wheel I see on marketplace/etc. The 6 holes on the wheel on the car are on the sides.

Will that be a problem? I know obviously the wheel will be cockeyed if I put it on, but could an alignment straighten it out? Or do I need to find a wheel with holes like the one on the car? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks! πŸ™

  1. It’s just a matter or orientating the hub so that it matches your wheel.

  2. Flat bottom doesn’t give you any more leg room because the steering wheel turns lol.

You just want a smaller wheel. 320mm is perfect imo.

I’ll help you out 😊 so what you’re referring to is the bolt pattern on the steering wheel, there’s only 2 different common bolt patterns, Nardi (the one on your car) and Momo (the pattern with a hole on the top and bottom) they cannot be switched as the holes will not line up no matter how you orientate it. it’s all dependent on the boss hub that’s on the car, some boss hubs are Nardi only or Momo only some even have both bolt patterns drilled out and some have adapter’s.

any more questions feel free to ask 😊
