Japan’s hidden gems

let me show you a Hidden Gem in Japan the journey starts in Tokyo Station which is just a chaotic place in general but there’s this really cool bathroom they have that has murals of places in Japan inside the stall they’ve also got this machine that dispenses free sanitary pads which is so clutch and since I had a little time I stopped by a random saki bar at the station and downed this tasty white stuff before heading inside the gates to board the bullet train one time my friend got stuck in a bullet train for over 10 hours with no water or food so now I always come prepared just just out of fear this bullet train was also really fancy it came with an adjustable headrest and in the bathroom they had a changing table and a pull down board just to change on and just like that we have arrived in Sendai which is a city in Northern Japan known for its cow tongue dishes I went to this restaurant I found on Google straight from the station and ordered the thickest tongue and for $22 this was a great deal except for this super salty miso dish and the Mysterious green meat I found in my oxtail soup

Come with me on an adventure from Tokyo to Sendai, Japan

  1. amazake, from Hakone, first/only one I've tried has never left my memory. loved it.

  2. That "super salty miso dish" isn’t meant to be eaten on its own, you know. The proper way to enjoy it is by putting a small amount on meat or rice and eating it together. So yeah, of course, it’s supposed to be salty! 😂
