Avoid these mistakes at Ghibli Park Japan

Here are some things I wish people told me before going to the Ghibli museum in Nagoya

I made the ULTIMATE Tokyo Guidebook, so check it out if you’d like:

  1. Absolutely ridiculous they require a PREMIUM pass to visit all the sites. Pretentious is an understatement. If they had any common sense they would make all the passes standard with access to all the sites.

  2. oh boy, two trains and a 10 minute walk. Tell me you're american, without telling me you're american

  3. The shuttle only goes to one of the five areas (Dondoko Forest – Totoro area). Unless it's your fav movie, you can skip it and easily walk everywhere.

  4. I have never in my life wanted to go to a Disney World or Disney park or whatever, but if I had the money, I would absolutely go to this.

  5. Is 10 minute walk too long?
I used to go to the tuition by cycle which took 15 minutes and walking it was 30 minutes pr more
Also my school is just 5 minute walking distance how is 10 minute walk a lot then?😅

  6. 😍 As a Ghibli fan why I didn't knew it existed. Now must visit it when visiting Japan Insha'Allah.

  7. Seems fun if you know the story/anime behind each. For a normal person its a weird world’s tour

  8. Kash yeh India main hota kyunki maximum time humlog itna depressed rehte hai ki 1 hr journey lekar taxi yah bus pakarkar Nicco Park, Science city yah phir ecopark chale ao

  9. I honestly loved my experience at the og Ghibli museum. Way cheaper then either the standard or premium pass for the park but still really unique. I think it's 1,000 yen vs the 7,800 of the premium ticket.

Yes you dont get the same huge sets experience as the park but honestly it was more than beautiful enough of an experience without taking too much out of the journey. Takes one train and a walk to get there and the area surrounding the museum is also really beautiful.

You'll be able to see the entire museum while taking your time and not feel rushed because it's all contained in one place.
