Today I’m taking the world’s most luxurious sleeper train over the next 72 hours. What’s more I’m in the best room, or should I say I have the entire carriage as my suite! This is by far the most incredible sleeper train experience of my life, the Twilight Express Mizukaze. Though this is a trip you can’t just book, and have to enter a lottery to reserve a ticket onboard.

I’ll be documenting every minute of my journey from what the dining is like in the restaurant car curated by a 3 Michelin star chef, the observation lounges (there are two!) and finding out what my private balcony is like in my suite. This also happens to be up there as my most expensive individual travel experience too… at over $40,000! As usual I’ve broken down the cost and how I booked this in the video.

  1. Your DC experience reminds of my experience with Qatar Airways. I was on Qatar Airways from Doha to Saigon. After dinner, the stewardess asks if I want coffee. It was a red-eye, so I wanted decaf. The FA came back 40 minutes later with my decaf that she got specially for me. I didn't really want decaf, but I'd drink it if they had it. By that point, I was damn well drinking that coffee.

  2. I loved every second of this video. Thank you for your dedication. I still remember when you had just under 100k followers, and flying all over the globe.

  3. Hello, humans
Humans who laugh at you, only laugh at themselves, when they see something in you they will never have.

    TERRANCE OUT

  4. those meals 🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
and to mfs that are gonna be like "you’re SO uncultured and disrespectful"….imagine being offered a normal meal like lasagna and garlic bread, and instead getting dead eels with the eyeballs intact. yall are the weird ones 😂😭😭😭😭🤢

  5. Where did you get the idea that is it pronounced Okiyama when it is spelled Okayama?

  6. Yes speechless indeed. Wow. Oh my goodness that is a wonderful bathroom. What an opportunity to explore and enjoy the culture. A bit of class with the musicians. The Japanese know how to provide great customer service. Spectacular looking train. Thank you for this incredible train journey. Great to see your dad again.

  7. わあ~、格好良い~!!でも値段の桁間違えてない?と思ったら合ってんのか・・・w
    慣れないながらも箸にチャレンジしてくれてて見てて嬉しくなりました。

  8. I just about finished my dinner when I nearly choked at hearing that price, hahahah 🤣🤣🤣….a stunning journey…. cheers to you 🤟🎶

  9. Paused at 5:21. It looks like there are window blinds for you to pull down for privacy while taking a bath. They were pulled all the way up, and you can see the string that controls them. In fact the string was right by your head when you were taking your bath.

  10. Hello welcome to the worlds most exclusive 5 star dining experience on board a train… Can i have a can of your finest diet coke (aka toilet cleaner) pardon! you don't have it how extraordinary! I'm shocked 😳

  11. What a fantastic experience Will and made even more so by having your Dad accompany you – making amazing memories together ❤️ thanks for the fabulous content 😀

  12. Your videos are definitely not designed to attract the every day man and women as most will never be able to afford something on this scale including myself unfortunately. EasyJet and Ryanair is just about manageable for me and flying as far as Glasgow to Belfast. Can only watch on with envy at people who can afford to do this sort of travel as never in my life will I get to this level. Good vid will continue to watch on and dream 😊

  13. Seems like somewhat of a massive oversight to provide an entire bath on your train and not use frosted glass for the window, or employ some kind of privacy screen — the views are fantastic, but not worth showing a whole Japanese village your bits

  14. We saw you in Sydney! Near to Circular Quay and thought you were on the cruise ship but you must have been on your way to Japan. I really enjoy watching your videos on all modes of transport. Thank you for posting them 😊
