Yes, travel to Japan…we use Google translate.
Need to learn how to use the train.
Hoping to go later this year going to have to binge watch all your Japan videos!
I am from Japan and have lived in USA long time.
Every time I go back there for vacation, I always amazed that signs informations written by English and other languages. Most of Japanese doesn't speak English and shy but very kind to help foreign tourists.
Thank you for introducing my country to everyone in the world!

Very helpfiul and reassuring. I'm going tomorrow.for almost two weeks, so this was timely. Thank you, Chris! I enjoy your videos!
I like restaurants that use tablets to order because all the ones I have come across have an English option as well.

I speak basic Japanese but I do rely on Google Translate. It was a godsend when I needed specific medication or when I got lost (often) in the train stations. Google Maps and Rome2Rio apps are helpful in getting you from one location to another. They give you options, approx times and cost.
Hi Chris. Great information. You definitely be ok in the big city, but might have difficulty in the countryside. It does help to learn some the the basic words or phrases. For the most part the Japanese are willing to help out. Thanks for sharing and take care.
