Interlaken an abandoned resort at Twin lakes Colorado hiking with a Belgian Malinois husky mix

During the late 1800’s Interlaken was a resort near Leadville Colorado. It operated for 25 years. It was abandoned for many years. There have been efforts to stabilize and restore the resort. This relic of the past is at Twin Lakes before the town. The Aspens are changing to their gold color for autumn. This is a good hike for leaf peeping.
