You could definitely risk getting tickets when you get to Japan but if you want to plan going to Shibuya sky on a weekend, you really need to buy a ticket a week before. Weekends you might be sad to see all the tickets SOLD OUT

THE HARDEST THING TO RESERVE!
📍The Pokémon café fills up months in advance and online they don’t show new dates until they release it. Id highly suggest emailing someone to schedule when you might be going. SOMETIMES they have day of cancellations so you can always try to go in person and check as well (it did not work for me and I tried a couple of times)

I don’t think this café gets too booked too fast so you could probably book a few days or maybe even a day in advance, however booking the day of is super risky! And why would you want to miss out on seeing mini pigs?
