Japanese Overnight Ferry Trip: Experience Suite with Tatami Mats (Osaka to Fukuoka)

I’m taking the Meimon Taiyo Ferry from Osaka to Fukuoka this time. If you feel Japanese atmosphere while you are traveling on the overnight ferry, this suite is perfect (but it’s hard to book since there is only one available).

  1. Very nice and spacious cabin. I like this ship. Food looked good also but there were some items I did not recognize. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Thank you for showing us the inside of the buffet, I’ve always wanted to see what it looks like before you make your tray. Are you on a diet? You took such small amounts? 😊

  3. The beds always look so comfortable, but never have enough pillows. Those huge beds and always one sad little pillow. Just curious do Japanese people generally not like lots of pillows.

  4. Relaxing pleasant ferry voyage! The cabin was lovely and brought with it good luck as you got bingo twice πŸ˜‚. The food was great looking too❀

  5. 7:13 Solo-san, I am not sure if you are aware of what "get lucky" means… 😳🫣 But anyhow, may all your dreams come true.
    Safe travels.

  6. Ok random question, first time I've seen complete rigs with power units. Are they allowed to sleep in there semi's or are the required to get a birth on the ferry?

Random thought sense i used to drive big truck in the states.

  7. I am watching your video now, that I am at my bed. 😊They make me relax and feel good. Good adventures! From SΓ£o Paulo-Brasil πŸ‡§πŸ‡·

  8. Always a nice video with you. I love seeing inside all these ferries and different rooms. Gives me a much better idea of where and how I'd like to travel if I get to Japan any time soon.

  9. If I just saw a picture of your suite with the tatami floor and shoji window covering, never would’ve thought you were on a ferry. Pretty slick, slick. πŸ˜‰
