Make this in Japan! #japantravel #japaneseculture #shorts
One of my favorite experiences in Japan! π¨π»βπ¨
My friend and I made our own Edo Kiriko glasses in Asakusa! I initially thought it might be really difficult, but the teacher gave an easy to understand explanation and we had some time to practice on model glasses before diving into our own. We were able to choose the shape, size, and color of our glasses before starting our designs π¨
The whole experience lasts about 90 minutes. Highly recommend it! The end result makes a great souvenir from your Japan trip that youβll actually use. You can book this on Klook and use the code BLAKETOKYO for a discount! Just search βEdo Kiriko Glassβ or leave a comment and I can send you the link β¨

Canβt wait to go and try it myself. Miss that country so much.
This is such a great idea. If you have an hour and a half spare and are in Tokyo long enough to indulge yourself like this it's such a novel idea for a souvenir. Also great if you're travelling with a person who's really into crafts and using their hands on something new and challenging. Thanks for this upload.

Is it a sand-grinder? This does not cut your fingers, but the nails. Don't get any hard material near it.
