WOW this is the end of our JAPANESE street food in Tokyo series!!! In today’s episode, we are showing you the most DANGEROUS and POISONOUS food in JAPAN!!! Only skilled and certified chefs can prepare the infamous FUGU (Japanese pufferfish / puffer fish), and its masterful preparation is what we will be showing you, from ALIVE to a Japanese DELICACY! The chef explains the most poisonous parts of the fish, how it is removed, and other insane facts about FUGU! We then have the opportunity to try the Fugu in several different ways: sashimi, fugu nabe, deep fried and BBQ fugu! DELICIOUS!
Next, we visit a shop famous for UNAGI (eel), which is also known to have poisonous properties. The chef demonstrates his skill with preparing the unagi from living, into several different incredible dishes. From grilled unagi dipped in a rich sauce, to the chef’s own creations – everything was delicious and prepared safely!!! Get ready to eat some CRAZY fish!
