The Kinjo Stone Road in Okinawa, Japan is one of the oldest roads in Okinawa. It was constructed in the early 1500s during the reign of King Sho Shin of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Although much of the original road was destroyed during the Battle of Okinawa in World War II, the remaining 238-meter stretch in Shuri still offers a fascinating glimpse into the area’s rich history.
