Basically, JAL is not operating any domestic flights from Narita. Either she has no idea about Tokyo or she is simply faking it to make it catchy by pretending to catch a flight.
Oof you went to Narita before you realized you were supposed to be at Haneda that's bad.
Potentially that be a 3hr mistake if you went all the way to NRT before you noticed compared to the other way around where it's a 20 to 30 min mistake.
It sounds like you noticed before you even got to Chiba City so probably not that bad maybe just an hour the wrong way but yeah yikes.
For anybody looking at flights through kayak and other 3rd party websites you NEED TO read the fine print. If you are landing in tokyo and have a connecting flight you have to make sure your connecting flight is at the same airport. I have seen so many flights online that I’ve almost booked and then realized I land in Narita and my connecting flight is in Haneda, which over an hour by train. Both Narita and Haneda are considered Tokyo so when you select “Tokyo all Airports” its a big deal for connecting flights so make sure you are connecting at the same airport!!!
I see a few videos like this from time to time and it aways baffles me. I can understand the wrong terminal but how does one go to the wrong airport? I find it so funny. Glad you made it though.
I'm so sorry to hear this happened to you guys!!! I've flown out of both HND and NRT and I know they're like 1 hour apart! I one time went to the wrong airport in NYC, but they're a little closer. It does make for a funny story!

Literally did this 4 days ago, went to narita by mistake and had to take a $300 tax to haneda to make it in time
Hopefully you went to the closer airport first. I just hiked the komando kodo in april. Beautiful. Had a great time.
