In today’s vlog, I bid farewell to the stunning island of Okinawa and embarked on a journey to Japan’s vibrant capital, Tokyo, via Jetstar Airlines.
My Evening in Okinawa
I started my evening with a peaceful monorail ride to Naha Airport, admiring the city one last time. After clearing security and getting my boarding pass, I prepared for the 2-hour flight from Okinawa to Tokyo.
Arrival at Narita Airport
We landed at Narita International Airport around 11 PM, but by then, the metro had already closed. With no immediate way to reach the city, I decided to spend the night at the airport. It was a unique experience as the airport provided a safe and comfortable space to rest until the morning.
Morning Commute to Funabashi
At 5 AM, I purchased a metro ticket to Funabashi, a city located just outside central Tokyo. A kind Nepali brother living there had offered to host me, making my arrival in Tokyo much smoother and welcoming. He greeted me at the station and took me to his home, where I settled in to plan my Tokyo adventures.
