Is cheap sushi in Japan any good?? We tried conveyor belt sushi (kaitensushi) in Tokyo to see if it’s worth it!

We went to Premium Kaio Sushi in Diver City Mall, Odaiba, Tokyo. It’s a cheap conveyor belt sushi restaurant, similar to Genki Sushi in Shibuya and Sushiro. Compared to sushi in the UK, the quality is comparable and it’s much cheaper in Japan! There are options for vegetarians, you can order in a touchscreen in English (perfect if you don’t know Japanese!), and your sushi arrives by bullet train. It’s fun, and there were lots of families so it’s a good place to go with kids. Of course it’s still worth going to a more expensive restaurant, but for a cheap lunch, this sort of place is perfect.
