MISHIMA SKYWALK / JAPAN‘S LONGEST PEDESTRIAN SUSPENSION BRIDGE / PINOY ENGINEER IN JAPAN

The main attraction at Mishima Skywalk is Japan’s longest pedestrian-only suspension bridge, a 400-meter marvel. From the vantage point of the suspension bridge, you can indulge in a 360-degree panoramic view of Mount Fuji, proudly standing as the highest World Heritage Site, Suruga Bay, and the picturesque Izu mountains. It feels as though you’re taking a stroll through the sky while relishing these awe-inspiring vistas. Besides the highly popular “Long Zip Line,” you can also partake in various outdoors activities that make use of the forest’s natural terrain.

How to get there
Located in Shizuoka, visitors can take the Tokaido-Sanyo bullet train from Tokyo station to Mishima Station which takes about 55 minutes, from there, they can take a bus from the No.5 bus stop at the station’s south end; the bus ride is approximately 30 minutes (710 YEN).
