Exploring Tokyo’s Setagaya Ward! (in Japan!)
It has been a minute and a half since we did a video about one of Tokyo’s 23 wards so we figured we’d do one! Had a fun day stomping around Setagaya!

I wish you would have done more just around Sangenjaya. I have never been there, but a long time ago it was featured on a segment of Tokyo Eye called "My Private Tokyo" and I fell in love with the place. I used to watch that particular clip numerous times, but I have somehow lost track of it.

I am in the neighboring ward of setagaya, just across tamagawa. Its fun to see so many "hidden" spots that I hardly knew of! The usual popular spots I know of in setagaya are the Kinuta park and the futako-tamagawa area with great shopping spots. This ward also has the best children's hospital of Japan, NCCHD, which is also one of the best in the world.
it did surprise me how bad parks are in japan. lots of hard ground and joyless steel play equipment. like some were ok and all, but so many looked tired
Really enjoyed this one, seen a tiny horny sheep walking, Eric looking like a mischelin food critiqe in a japanese fast food chain restaurant, and that at the end 40:05 something was a not noticed Pete Davidson impression?
Ward Videos are my favourite. I like to plod along on google earth and find the locations. There were some parks and museums i was hoping you would go to but the ravine and temple were my top picks.
At 24:00 those fish lips are awfully seductive. Adds to erics lunch vibe.
