13! Nepal To Japan || S2 E64 || World tour || Spring airlines.
In this exciting vlog, I share my journey from Shanghai, China, to Okinawa, Japan, marking my 13th country on this incredible adventure!
The day started with a metro ride to Pudong International Airport, one of the largest airports I’ve ever seen. My boarding gate was 172, but with over 700 gates, navigating this massive airport was a unique experience. To reach my gate, I even had to use the airport’s internal metro system—a testament to its size and efficiency. Flying with Spring Airlines, I secured my boarding pass despite not having a return ticket, though I had to sign a document without fully understanding its purpose.
Our departure was slightly delayed, but the 2-hour flight to Naha Airport, Okinawa, was smooth. Upon landing, I immediately gained internet access and connected with my family—a much-needed moment of comfort before facing Japanese immigration. The process was thorough, with officers asking about my trip and return plans. Despite not having a return ticket, I shared my YouTube channel and explained my plans. Thankfully, after a brief wait, I received the stamp in my passport, officially entering Japan!
Two kind Nepali friends greeted me at the airport, making my arrival even more special. We took the Okinawa monorail to my hostel, which offered stunning views of the city. After they left, I finally had some time to relax and reflect on my journey, feeling a deep sense of gratitude for reaching this milestone.
Stay tuned for my next vlog, where I’ll explore the beautiful landscapes, unique culture, and local experiences that Okinawa has to offer!
