Taiwan, we are back! Last time we merely scratched the surface of this beautiful island, so on this trip, we are taking the brilliant trains ALL the way round it! Starting in Taipei, we will work our way down the western coast with the high speed bullet trains, stopping in Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan and Kaohsiung, after which we will work our way back up on the eastern coast to Hualien and then finishing in Taipei – completing the loop! This island is famous for it’s diverse food and you better believe we will be attempting to experience the best of it. From food, natural beauty, epic trains, and vibrant cities – these 5 days are going to be EPIC! In the first episode from this trip we will be exploring Taipei and getting ready for our trip – after which we will be heading to Taichung,

    I feel second hand embarrassment over the political comments from some folks here. This is supposed to be a wholesome and fun content but these ignorant commenters are making it into something else. I have a lot of Chinese friends and quite frankly they dont care if Taiwan is considered part of China or not. 2passports if you can read this, the negative comments here do not represent the overall sentiments of the Chinese people towards Taiwan and its people and culture

    Roadside claw machine shops usually have a very low chance of success. It is recommended that you look for a large claw machine shop with dedicated staff. The chance of success will be very high. You can even ask the staff to help you place it in an easier position. I hope you are in Taiwan. have fun😄

    You guys should try this Egg scallion pancake in Hualien, it’s super goood and the best in Taiwan for personally because it’s deep fried. They serve limited serving per day so make sure to go early. No. 102 Fuxing St., Hualien. ❤ enjoy!!!

    Funny thing about the claw machines. Even Japanese TV flew over and made a couple of programs on how rigged they are. The locals have developed a technique to play them. I would advise visitors to stay far away😂

    Regarding Taiwanese breakfast. It took Boba Tea 20~30 years to blow up worldwide. So perhaps maybe another 20~30 years from now?😂

    the way you play those claw games is to intentionally grab it on the side so that when the claw lets go, your item bounces into the collector. don't try to grab it straight on thinking the claw will drop it directly into the collector.

    If you are in Taiwan at the winter time, try the hot pot, the ginger duck, the stir fry restaurant, the Weng Yao Chicken/urn chicken, the Chinese herb cuisine…. so many different things.

    In the east, take a hot spring, it’s so nice.

    Ask people where you could have your hair shampoo and massage, for example, this service at the chain hair salon Xiao Lin costs only 250NTD
