Watching your videos with my 3-year old daughter and we decided to go to Japan in January for four weeks and do some things from your videos like this one, overnight ferry and visit Osaka.

It's so charming. I think it's because there's still enough slack left in Japan (and Europe) to do fun, cute, cool, artsy, or novel things just because they can.
(Then again, judging by NEORSD, CMNH, and Cleveland Metroparks (among others), the local nonprofit stuff really does seem to go above and beyond where it counts.)
